ROUND TWO of the Pga Women's Senior Stroke Play championship...today, we played the Ryder Course at the PGA Villages in Port St. Lucie. Yesterday, we contended with rain all day. Today, it was wind and cool temps. Lucky for me, that's what we have been playing in all winter and I handled it like a pro 😁....I shot a sweet two under 34 on the front, made the turn and keep it together until....the 15th. The wet hard bunkers are kicking my butt this weekend!! I airmailed one over the green 15 which led to a high number and the bunker on 18 got me too. So, two poor holes led to a 75 today. That's golf!! I am going to get it one of the these days and hoping that day is tomorrow!! One round left....wish me luck and hoping to avoid the bunkers for the final round!!! 🙃😎

What a rainy day in Florida!! Today was Round ONE of the PGA Women's Stroke Play Tournament. We are playing at PGA Villages and today's round was on the Wanamaker. I was so fortunate to be paired with Allie Knight! Not only is she a wonderful player (she is currently leading the Championship division)and very nice but she also had a full cover for the cart. It rained on and off on the front nine, a very steady rain for all the back nine until that steady rain turned into downpour for the last two holes!!! Wow!! I told Allie that we couldn't get any more wet after the 15th hole and two holes later, I had to retract my statement!!! We were completely soaked after the 18th hole! I played well shooting a 77 with one birdie and one blow up hole (a triple). Currently, in fifth. Looking forward to playing the Ryder Course tomorrow with hopefully some better weather!!

Want to get fit for of what life demands? Get stronger hip muscles!! Get a small circular resistance band, put it above your knees and get moving!! Here a two of my favorites...Glute bridges and Glute extensions. For best results, do very slowly and hold at top! Go to burn!!

Three years ago today, Ladies Fit For Life went to online LIVE ZOOM classes. It was pivotal for me and for everybody involved with our classes and my personal training. What I have found is I have been more consistent with my workouts which has led me to be stronger. What my ladies say is they really love that they can still be social online but don't have to make the drive to the gym, their shower is nearby and it takes less time out of their days to get their workout in. We all love it and the accountability that we hold to each other. Come join us!!
