Fortunate to be among such dedicated and accomplished karateka.
This is an historic moment for Oyatkata Kobujitsu. The very first Dan ranks have been earned and presented.
There are specific requirements for each Dan rank. Each certificate front side lists the three (3) new proficiencies for the rank. On the backside of the certificate all the proficiencies that have been used to achieve the prior rank are listed.
Proficiencies Categories - Kata, Bunkai, and Oyo
Kata - must perform the weapons kata and demonstrate knowledge of the movements in the kata
Bunkai - must demonstrate knowledge of techniques derived from the kata
Oyo - must demonstrate at full speed and power the use of techniques
