So devastated to hear the news that Lacrosse coach Jack Meachum died in an auto accident last night. He was the Carmel HS varsity lacrosse coach and the coach for True Indiana lacrosse. Our hearts go out to his wife, family, and the Carmel lacrosse community and True Indiana lacrosse. He was an exceptional coach and gave so much to grow the game of Lacrosse in Indiana. He led Carmel HS to a state championship this past spring and coached kids from all over Indiana with True. We are grateful some of the kids from Bloomington had the opportunity to be coached by him.
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of a great leader within True Lacrosse and the entire Indiana Lacrosse community. Coach Meachum’s exemplary presence both on and off the field helped shape the lives of young athletes everywhere, and his tremendous leadership and spirit will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences are with Jack’s wife, family, and friends.
