Bloomingdale Lightning FC The Bloomingdale Lightning FC is a non-for profit competitive youth travel soccer organization. Located in Bloomingdale IL.

We provide year round programs and training for all ages.
The Bloomingdale Lightning FC (BLFC) is a non-for profit competitive youth travel soccer program located in Bloomingdale IL that provides a year round curriculum that includes fall, winter, and spring seasons, as well as various summer training programs and camps. The BLFC trainers are professional licensed trainers and coac

h all the practices and games to integrate superior coaching and training into all aspects of the development of the soccer athletes. The BLFC serves as a feeder program to many high schools in the northwest suburbs . The Bloomingdale FC teams play in the NISL, YSSL, and league, and IWSL leagues.

Looking for a fun and exciting way to keep your young athlete active this summer? Join us for the Bloomingdale Lightning Youth Soccer Camp!

📅 June 19, 20 & 21
⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Springfield Park – Bloomingdale, IL

Open to players ages 6–10 of all skill levels! Our camp is designed to help players learn, grow, compete, and most importantly, have fun in a positive environment.

✅ Small-Sided Games

This camp is led by our Bloomingdale Lightning Academy players, and all proceeds go directly toward supporting their soccer development.

We are proud to announce that Bloomingdale Lightning Futbol Club has officially been accepted into the National 1 League (N1) Midwest District 4 Chicagoland for the 2026/27 season!

The National 1 League represents the highest level of team-vs-team league competition in the country, bringing together ambitious clubs committed to player development, meaningful competition, and long-term growth.

This acceptance is a significant milestone for our club and a reflection of the hard work of our players, coaches, families, and staff. Through N1, our athletes will benefit from:

Today marked the final game of the season for our Fierce girls, and it ended with a special celebration for Coach Frankie.

This group has held a special place in his heart. While he has spent countless hours teaching these young athletes about soccer, they have taught him just as much about patience, leadership, resilience, and the true meaning of making a difference.

As Coach Frankie prepares to leave for the Air Force this August, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the impact he has made on so many young lives. The memories, laughs, lessons, and bonds created with this group will stay with him forever.

To our Fierce girls, thank you for being such an important part of his journey. You helped shape him into the leader he is becoming, and we know you will continue to make him proud.

Coach Frankie, we are incredibly grateful for everything you have given to this program. We wish you nothing but success as you begin this next chapter of service to our country.

Learning goes far beyond the soccer field. 🇺🇸⚽

Every Friday, our players have the opportunity to work out with a United States Air Force Sergeant from our local recruiting branch. Through these sessions, they’re learning valuable lessons about discipline, accountability, leadership, teamwork, and perseverance.

The physical training is great, but the life lessons and mentorship being shared are what make these experiences truly special. We love seeing our athletes challenged to step outside their comfort zones, push themselves, and grow as young leaders.

Thank you for helping inspire the next generation to work hard, stay focused, and never stop striving to be their best.

We are incredibly proud of Oliver Gromadzki as he continues his soccer journey overseas, training with the first team at Arka Gdynia in Poland.

Oliver’s dedication, work ethic, and passion for the game have opened doors to an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in a professional environment.
