Thank you to everyone who joined us for Back Into Your Body: A Mind-Body Reset for Stress, Tension & Chronic Pain this week.

We spent the evening exploring how stress affects more than just our thoughts—it can influence our breathing, posture, movement patterns, muscle tension, recovery, and even pain.

One of the biggest takeaways from the evening was that stress often becomes physical before we even recognize it. Tight shoulders, headaches, jaw tension, poor sleep, and feeling exhausted but wired can all be signs that the body is stuck in a stress response.

Together, we discussed practical strategies to help break that cycle, including counseling techniques, breathing exercises, movement, chiropractic care, massage therapy, and mindfulness practices.

A special thank you to Jasmine Menser-Lust, LCPC of Catalyst Counseling, LLC - Illinois and Naziha Abbas, LMT for sharing their expertise and helping create such a valuable experience for our attendees.

This past weekend, Dr. Krystian had the opportunity to meet with the amazing BiegAm Polish Running Club!

We spent time discussing common running injuries, the importance of strength training, mobility, recovery strategies, and practical ways runners can stay healthy while continuing to enjoy the sport they love.

After nearly 20 years of practice, I've noticed something.

Many people come into our office with headaches, neck tension, shoulder tightness, fatigue, or chronic pain.

And while movement and treatment can help, there's often another piece of the puzzle.

Stress.

Not just what's happening in someone's life, but how that stress shows up physically in the body.

That's what inspired Back Into Your Body.

We wanted to bring together counseling, massage therapy, and chiropractic perspectives to help people better understand the connection between stress, tension, and pain.
