What a day we had with the mustangs! After the barrel race was canceled we made our way to cowtown arena for a fun horse show with lots of different mustangs classes! Everything from western, English, in hand, trail and all the speed events. We took Jade for her very first horse show to see how she would handle the environment and she did amazing. Such a calm and cool pony and really tried her little heart out. And as always Echo was killing in everything.

If you can’t ride your horse off of your legs and stop off your seat with no hands do you really have full control of your horse? Have you spent the time in getting your horse soft? Do you have patience in yourself and your horse to get there? It’s not all about getting on your horse and just riding w/j/l. Take the time and build that softness. The partnership it will build between you and your horse no one will be able to touch.

It’s finally 100% officially on its way in 6 short weeks! the indoor arena will be being built along with 10 new stalls on the side of it! This might be the coolest thing I have ever owned! No more rain outs or any of this crazy weather stuff we have been dealing with this year.

After a lot of hours spent in the skid steer I have got the existing arena extended ready for our new indoor facility to be built in a few short weeks. And we have finished cutting out the new training pen and it’s ready for panels and gates! Been missing my old round pen at the last place we had for working horse so I’m excited to have one again! Can’t believe I’ve been in this new property for a year this coming month and the growth and progress has been crazy I could never had imagined that I would have happend this fast.

Day 3 putting a refresher on cotton. It’s been a few years for this little mare. We put some ground work in and she was looking real good so Raylen decided to give it a shot and she how she would ride off. Obviously it didn’t go well. But wait till you see day 5 on the next video. Massive improvement!
