🌊 Thinking About Swimming Lessons This Summer?
I’ve had a lot of questions about group and private swimming lessons lately, so here’s a quick guide!
Group Lessons – Don’t let the name fool you! Even though they’re called “group,” we keep our student-to-teacher ratio very low—typically 1 teacher to 3 swimmers max—so each child still gets plenty of individual attention. Each session is 8 lessons, 30 minutes each, for $50, and we offer three sessions each summer (dates and class times coming soon!)
Private Lessons – Perfect for swimmers who want one-on-one instruction or need extra support. We offer five 30-minute timeslots for $60–$75 depending on the instructor. If you’re already set up with a private lesson instructor, they will be reaching out to schedule once we get water in the pool. The best way to get hooked up with a lifeguard for private lessons is to come to the pool or know one of the lifeguards personally, since scheduling can be tricky due to limited instructor availability and the seasonal nature of our pool (we’re only open May–August).
💡 Pro Tip: Swimming lessons are amazing, but practice is key! It’s important to bring your swimmer to the pool outside of lessons to practice the skills they’re learning.
🏊‍♂️ New to the Pool? If your child has never had lessons at our pool, we strongly recommend coming by a few times before lessons start so they can get comfortable with the water and the environment. It makes the lesson experience so much smoother!
Swimming is a skill for life, and the more comfortable your child is in the water, the more they’ll thrive in lessons.
