So proud of both of these teams! It was a great run for both in Districts.

12U came up short to Tecumseh.

10U lost a heart breaker to Hudson.

Thank you coaches for your dedication in the post season! These teams were so much fun to watch. The future is definitely bright for Blissfield Softball! 🥎

12U is in the semi finals/finals! If they beat Tecumseh tonight, they would face them again tomorrow night for the Championship!

10U has 1 tough loss (2-1) to Hudson and is still battling!

Players of the game 6/3!

Joey Gust and Julyssa Parrish!

Joey is a quiet leader on our team. She always has a smile on her face, even when she’s dripping in sweat in the catchers gear! She did a great job this season with putting the ball in play, being an outstanding catcher behind the plate, going anywhere we needed her to play, and being a great teammate!

Julyssa was very hesitant about trying a new position this year, but after a few practices she decided to give catching a try. All season she was eager to learn, was very inquisitive about the game and wanting to learn more, and was one of the loudest girls in the dugout cheering her team on.

Great work, Joey and Julyssa!

Leigha Recker #15 & Olivia Rothman #16

Leigha is always the life of the team, cheering, Cupid shuffling, and always asking questions to improve her game! She had some huge at bats tonight and caught the final out of the season at first tonight! Leigha has been a great asset to our team all season no matter where she plays!

Great Job Leigha!

Olivia is another quiet personality but her effort and work ethic speaks for her! Olivia has improved so much this season and it’s been awesome to see her grow!

#15 Isabelle Strouse

Isabelle has played 3rd most of the year for us and has been pretty solid. Quiet as a mouse, but always talking shop after games to see what more she can do to improve. She’s been a great teammate, and may not be the most vocal, but she also recommended to do a team picture as well since it was a 11-2 victory to making a perfect season of 12-0. Great job Isabelle and great job to every girl on the team for such a fun season!

Proud of everyone, and the work you put in! Good luck to your future of playing, and hope you girls continue to grow and improve on every aspect whether it’s on the field or off.
