Players of the game 6/3!

Joey Gust and Julyssa Parrish!

Joey is a quiet leader on our team. She always has a smile on her face, even when she’s dripping in sweat in the catchers gear! She did a great job this season with putting the ball in play, being an outstanding catcher behind the plate, going anywhere we needed her to play, and being a great teammate!

Julyssa was very hesitant about trying a new position this year, but after a few practices she decided to give catching a try. All season she was eager to learn, was very inquisitive about the game and wanting to learn more, and was one of the loudest girls in the dugout cheering her team on.

Great work, Joey and Julyssa!

Leigha Recker #15 & Olivia Rothman #16

Leigha is always the life of the team, cheering, Cupid shuffling, and always asking questions to improve her game! She had some huge at bats tonight and caught the final out of the season at first tonight! Leigha has been a great asset to our team all season no matter where she plays!

Great Job Leigha!

Olivia is another quiet personality but her effort and work ethic speaks for her! Olivia has improved so much this season and it’s been awesome to see her grow!

#15 Isabelle Strouse

Isabelle has played 3rd most of the year for us and has been pretty solid. Quiet as a mouse, but always talking shop after games to see what more she can do to improve. She’s been a great teammate, and may not be the most vocal, but she also recommended to do a team picture as well since it was a 11-2 victory to making a perfect season of 12-0. Great job Isabelle and great job to every girl on the team for such a fun season!

Proud of everyone, and the work you put in! Good luck to your future of playing, and hope you girls continue to grow and improve on every aspect whether it’s on the field or off.

Giuliana has been putting the work all season long, best part, with a smile and positive attitude. She would accept constructive correction just as you'd expect a player to do. She's been a team player all season supporting her teammates from the bench or the field! The best part of it all, she improved her swing and put the ball in play several times! I know for a fact she was thrilled! Keeping putting in the work Giuliana!

Hadlee has been working hard this season, trying out multiple positions, learning coverages, and keeping her eye on the ball when it’s pitched to her. She finally got locked in with her batting and had a few great hits Monday night! She has improved a lot this year and will continue for years to come. She always has a smile on her face, is a great teammate, and is always ready to learn.

Gabbie has also improved a lot this year! Gabbie asks a lot of questions about the game which shows that she wants to learn more and get better. She’s been a good teammate and a positive person for us to have in the dugout and on the field. She also takes the award for most times hit as a batter and has wore every hit-by-pitch like a champ! She has the bruises to prove it 😊

Blissfield 2 10U Players of the Game 6/1

Scarlett Freer #23

Scarlett has been a rock behind the plate all season, providing steady defense and leadership as our catcher. Her hard work at the plate continues to pay off, and tonight she absolutely smoked a ball right up the middlee, almost taking out her coach! Beyond her performance on the field, Scarlett is always positive, always smiling, and always supporting her teammates. We’re proud of the player and teammate she continues to be. Congratulations, Scarlett!

Leah Sheldon #10

Leah continues to improve with every game she plays. Whether she’s in the infield or outfield, she’s always ready to help the team wherever she’s needed. Leah hustles every play, works hard, and is a fantastic teammate. Tonight, she came to the plate ready to compete, taking strong swings and putting several balls right back at the pitcher. Her confidence and effort keep growing, and it’s great to watch her development throughout the season. Congratulations, Leah!

These two players bring so much energy, effort, and positivity to our team. Our wouldn’t be the same without them!

Scarlett Wells #1

Scarlett has been working hard on her hitting this season and it showed last night! She started the team off with a solid hit to the outfield and reached base every at bat following. No doubt her lead off hit was contagious to the other girls in our 25-0 win over Adrian 1!

Hazel Fleming!

She crushed the ball trying out coach pitch today and also got an out while playing first base. She is always such a great sport and supportive of her teammates. She has the most positive attitude, never complains, and always has a smile on her face! Great job Hazel! 🥎
