Today, Blanket ISD honors the memory and courage of the heroes of September 11th, and also celebrates ourgrandparents who fill our students' lives with wisdom and love.

Thank you to our Blanket Cheerleaders for making the signs and our Ag Department for the beautiful floral arrangements!

Blanket ISD is deeply grateful for the support and involvement of our entire community. The support we receive makes Blanket ISD a special place for our kids to learn and grow.

Do you have unwanted limbs on the ground at your house or piles of old lumber or pallets laying around? Blanket School is currently opening up the opportunity to the Blanket Community to bring unwanted burnable materials to the Bonfire Location behind the Tennis Courts at the old track. Please do not bring any bags of trash or metal. Drop off times are Saturday/Sunday 8:00AM - 7:00PM and Monday - Tuesday 3:30PM- 7:00PM.

Please be aware Blanket ISD has contacted our local Blanket Volunteer Fire Department to get all required permits and they will be on scene to make sure no issues occur.

Frito Pie and Bottled Water will be served starting at 7:00PM with bonfire beginning at dark.

Information on payment and parking at Blanket Tiger Stadium 2026

This year you will no longer pay at the ticket booth and will pay when you arrive into Tiger Stadium from Avenue I from your vehicle or when walking up if parked in overflow areas. We ask that when you arrive that you make an immediate right down the first row and then come back down to park in either row 2 or 3.

Please make sure to please park at an angle. This will allow us to get the most amount of vehicles parked and it will allow you to easily back out when you leave. Gate cost for Junior High is $3 and $2 and High School is $5 and $3. Blanket School gate and concession stands are cash only.

We look forward to seeing everyone tonight and Thursday at our Varsity home opener against Brookesmith.

Student of the week, Koen Welch. Congratulations 🎊 Koen is a great leader that loves to help his friends, and loves to be helpful in class.

Student of the week has to show leadership, follow rules, show respect, be helpful to teacher and classmates. Students vote and then I vote, this is a very important event and an all week achievement on the students behalf. Congratulations Koen for your hard work and willing to learn and go above and beyond in 5th grade.

We will have a new update for next week as our Junior High Football game has changed. We will no longer be playing Brookesmith Junior High and instead will be playing Sidney Junior High at 5:00PM at Tiger Stadium. For this game at halftime Sidney and Blanket will also have some of our students scrimmage with Sidney JH B Team to allow all of our Tigers the opportunity to get to participate in our JH home opener.

Varsity Football will still play at 7:30PM on Thursday, September 10th against the Brookesmith Mustangs at Tiger Stadium. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight at 6:30PM in Rochelle against Rocksprings and next week supporting all of our Tigers!

Don’t forget tomorrow our Blanket Tigers will take on Rocksprings at 6:30 PM in Rochelle! The pep rally will begin at 3:10 PM with gates opening at 3:00PM! Pep Rally theme for this week is Safari and our Cheerleaders will be selling tattoos, stickers, and toys at 7:30 AM in the Cafeteria during breakfast. Go Tigers!
