The Level 7 Gilmer County Junior Championship is coming to Ellijay on July 18, 2026!

Open to boys and girls singles divisions ages 12–18, this tournament is a great opportunity to gain match experience!

🎾 2026 Youth Summer Tennis Camp in Ellijay 🎾

Looking for a fun and active way to spend part of your summer? Join us for our FREE Youth Summer Tennis Camp sponsored by Mountain Tennis Association!

When? July 13–16, Monday–Thursday | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Where? Gilmer County Park, 1561 South Main Street, Ellijay, GA 30540
Who? Ages 10 and older. All skill levels welcome!

Come learn new skills, improve your game, make friends, and enjoy the fun of tennis!

Bring your racket, tennis shoes, and sun protection.
Refreshments provided. No cost to participate!

Mountain Tennis Association was proud to once again sponsor and support the Justin Elliott Memorial Tennis Tournament this past weekend! Despite an early Saturday rain shower, players arrived armed with towels, blowers, and squeegees to make sure tennis happened. Thankfully, the sun eventually cooperated, and everyone enjoyed a fantastic weekend of competition, friendship, and community.

In addition to sponsoring the event, Mountain Tennis Association provided the hamburgers and brats for players and volunteers. A special thank you to our Grill Master, Mel Locklear, for keeping everyone fed throughout the weekend!

We always enjoy being part of this special tournament and helping honor the memory of Justin Elliott through the sport we all love.

Congratulations to the Gilmer County Optimist Club, the volunteers, sponsors, and players for another successful year. We are already looking forward to next year's tournament on April 24-25, 2027!

We’re excited to welcome players this weekend for the 5th Annual Justin Elliott Tennis Tournament this weekend!

Location: Gilmer County High School Tennis Courts—350 Calvin Jackson Drive, Ellijay, GA 30540

Important: Court access is through the elementary school entrance, not the high school as in previous years. Follow the signs that will help point you in the right direction.

Registration starts at 8am with most playing at 9am.

Thank you to everyone participating and helping us honor Justin’s memory while supporting local youth programs through the Gilmer County Optimist Club. See you Saturday! 🎾🎾
