Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Blairsville Colts Victory Over Levity Growlers

It came down to the wire on Monday at S&T Bank Arena, as Blairsville Colts grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 10-9, over Levity Growlers. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the seventh when Corey Ramsden singled, scoring one run.
Bats blistered as Blairsville Colts collected six hits and Levity Growlers tallied 10 in the high-scoring game.
Levity Growlers got on the board in the top of the first inning after George Roberts singled, scoring one run, and - Mike Drew homered to center field, scoring three runs.
A double by Roberts, and a single by Mike Drew helped Levity Growlers extend their early lead in the third.
Blairsville Colts made the score 9-8 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Scott Harsh hit a solo home run to left field, and Lou Downey hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Bobby Thompson homered to right field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Blairsville Colts tie the game at nine in the bottom of the sixth.
Joe Culler earned the win for Blairsville Colts. The reliever gave up three hits and two runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking three. Roberts took the loss for Levity Growlers. The hurler went two and one-third innings, giving up two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking five. Owen Saiani led things off on the bump for Blairsville Colts. The starter allowed seven hits and seven runs (five earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Mike Drew stepped on the mound first for Levity Growlers. The righty surrendered four hits and eight runs (three earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four.
Harsh led Blairsville Colts with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Brandon McCormick, David Doak, Thompson, Ian Morrill, Ramsden, and Harsh each collected one hit for Blairsville Colts. Blairsville Colts had patience at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game. Mike Fennell and Culler led the team with two walks each. Saiani stole two bases.
Levity Growlers tallied 10 hits in the game. Roberts drove the middle of the lineup, leading Levity Growlers with five runs batted in. The shortstop went 3-for-3 on the day. Mike Drew collected two hits for Levity Growlers in three at bats. Levity Growlers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Ben Hudock and Max led the team with two free passes each. Levity Growlers turned two double plays in the game.
