Blairsville Colts Victorious Over Levity Growlers to advance to the IBA finals!

Blairsville Colts were triumphant over Levity Growlers 7-2 on Wednesday at S&T Bank Arena.

Blairsville Colts were the first to get on the board in the third when Owen Saiani singled, scoring two runs.

Matt Hogue earned the win for Blairsville Colts. The starter allowed two hits and one run over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking five. Ben Hudock took the loss for Levity Growlers. The starter went five innings, surrendering five runs (three earned) on eight hits, striking out 10 and walking two. Brandon McCormick collected the save. Andrew Baker appeared in relief for Blairsville Colts.

Blairsville Colts piled up 11 hits in the game. Saiani, Jayke Saiani, and Baker each collected two hits for Blairsville Colts. Saiani led Blairsville Colts with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Saiani stole two bases. Blairsville Colts stole six bases in the game. Blairsville Colts turned one double play in the game.

TJ Race led Levity Growlers with two hits in two at bats. Justin Lowry and Race each drove in one run for Levity Growlers. George Roberts paced Levity Growlers with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.

Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Blairsville Colts Victory Over Levity Growlers

It came down to the wire on Monday at S&T Bank Arena, as Blairsville Colts grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 10-9, over Levity Growlers. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the seventh when Corey Ramsden singled, scoring one run.

Bats blistered as Blairsville Colts collected six hits and Levity Growlers tallied 10 in the high-scoring game.

Levity Growlers got on the board in the top of the first inning after George Roberts singled, scoring one run, and - Mike Drew homered to center field, scoring three runs.

A double by Roberts, and a single by Mike Drew helped Levity Growlers extend their early lead in the third.

Blairsville Colts made the score 9-8 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Scott Harsh hit a solo home run to left field, and Lou Downey hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Bobby Thompson homered to right field on the sixth pitch of the at-bat, which helped Blairsville Colts tie the game at nine in the bottom of the sixth.

Joe Culler earned the win for Blairsville Colts. The reliever gave up three hits and two runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking three. Roberts took the loss for Levity Growlers. The hurler went two and one-third innings, giving up two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking five. Owen Saiani led things off on the bump for Blairsville Colts. The starter allowed seven hits and seven runs (five earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Mike Drew stepped on the mound first for Levity Growlers. The righty surrendered four hits and eight runs (three earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four.

Harsh led Blairsville Colts with two runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Brandon McCormick, David Doak, Thompson, Ian Morrill, Ramsden, and Harsh each collected one hit for Blairsville Colts. Blairsville Colts had patience at the plate, amassing nine walks for the game. Mike Fennell and Culler led the team with two walks each. Saiani stole two bases.

Levity Growlers tallied 10 hits in the game. Roberts drove the middle of the lineup, leading Levity Growlers with five runs batted in. The shortstop went 3-for-3 on the day. Mike Drew collected two hits for Levity Growlers in three at bats. Levity Growlers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Ben Hudock and Max led the team with two free passes each. Levity Growlers turned two double plays in the game.

Blairsville Colts With Great Performance From 2 Pitchers To Defeat Bob's Pizza

Blairsville Colts defeated Bob's Pizza 8-0 on Wednesday at S&T Bank Arena as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Matt Hogue and Joe Culler each pitched for Blairsville Colts in the game. Culler induced a fly out from Devlin Kordish to get the last out.

Blairsville Colts scored five runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Culler singled, scoring two runs, Bobby Thompson tripled, scoring two runs, and Andrew Baker hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Hogue earned the win for Blairsville Colts. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out none and walking none. Culler pitched four innings in relief for Blairsville Colts. The reliever allowed zero hits and zero runs while, striking out four and walking one. Kordish took the loss for Bob's Pizza. The starter went five innings, surrendering seven runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking five.

Blairsville Colts tallied nine hits in the game. David Doak, Jayke Saiani, and Thompson each collected two hits for Blairsville Colts. Hogue, Culler, and Thompson each drove in two runs for Blairsville Colts. Jarred Pennavaria stole two bases. Blairsville Colts stole four bases in the game. Blairsville Colts turned one double play in the game.

Ken Dombrosky and Brad Morgan each collected one hit for Bob's Pizza. Bob's Pizza were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Morgan made the most plays with eight.

The Colts start the 2025 IBL playoffs tonight in Indiana at 5:45 against Bob’s pizza! The best of 3 series goes MWF this week!

The Colts reeled off win #7 of the season and 16 straight over the past 2 seasons by beating a stout pitching performance by Bob’s pizza. Not to be out dueled, Matt Hogue, of the Colts pitched a complete game! He only gave up 1 run through 7 innings, with less than 90 pitches! The Colts won 4-1 and look to be back in action this coming Thursday in Indiana at 5:45pm!

The Colts reeled off their 6th straight win tonight in Indiana over F.O.E. 6-5. That is their 15th consecutive win over 2 seasons. Andrew Baker picked up the win on the hill, going 5 innings.
