NJ Fit Elite Break out of your limits! Small group training by CrossFit L-1 trainers designed to get you results. The "Elite Shack" is more than just another gym.

Workouts use varied functional movement while combining strength, power and metabolic conditioning. ELITE Training started in my front yard with 3-4 athletes who wanted an extra push to their usual fitness routine. After about 6 months outdoors, we shared space and equipment from an affiliated box for a year. As Elite evolved and out athletes increased, it became clear we needed our own space. Wit

h the help of friends and family that believe in Elite Training we now have a training facility right in Blairstown. It's a place where you will find opportunities in fitness and beyond to break out of your limits! Like our grassroots start in my yard, we continue to train only a small group of athletes at once. This allows our L-1 Trainers to focus on individual athletes in order to assess their mechanics, intensity and safety as we coach them towards their personal goals. EAT MORE!
Yes, you and your body cannot survive on limited calories. When you skip meals & under-eat consistently, this can results in slowing down your metabolism even more. Which we do not want! And obviously, eat more in a smart nutrient dense (not crapola) way.

Tracking your protein is a game changer. Focusing on getting enough protein daily will help boost your metabolism and burn the fat you want to get rid of.

Midlife mamas I talk to are totally confused as to WHAT to do food wise, work out wise, etc to boost metabolism, get rid of the belly fat, and not feel like general a$$. There is a common feeling of FRUSTRATION and general pissedoffedness (yes, a word) about the changes. Totally reasonable feeling.

Female friends in your 40s & 50s, I need you to TRUST ME on this when it comes to boosting metabolism, belly fat & weight loss. โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ

Cardio is NOT the answer in your perimenopause and menopause years.

Restricting your food is also not the answer.

I know we ALLLL grew up with the messaging that cardio was KING and the more sweat and the longer the better to see results ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ, plus eat less and restrict to lose weight.

Double f whammy. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ and I know it's hard to let go of but...

That approach will NOT will work for you right now.

It will actually make things WORSE in most cases. (Think slowing down your metabolism and storing even more fat).

And I KNOWWWW thatโ€™s not what you want. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Strength training is now KING.
So is eating ENOUGH. โ€”Especially when it comes to protein.
So is walking or other steady state cardio.
So is an 80/20 approach when it comes to overall nutrition.

Why can you drink vodka drinks every day and not gain weight but I canโ€™t even have one glass of wine without gaining weight?

I eat well but I still have the mom belly.

For the amount I workout and run, I should be ripped but I am not.

Plus sharing my approach for burning fat and building muscle as we age.

Saturday SHOW OFF! โ€”-my friend since 16!โ€”religiously doing a Bootcamp 5 days a week but not seeing any changes. She reached out last summer to โ€œlose about 5 lbs and tone upโ€.

She wasnโ€™t keen on alllll the parts of the wellness program I coach but she put her faith in me (maybe because we met at a church retreat so she knows Iโ€™m good at the core?). She was coachable. She trusted the process.
She got her changes and then some!!!!
