Fun Fitness with Celine

Fun Fitness with Celine Working out does not have to be a chore! Exercise can and should be fun and enjoyable. I have been leading Zumba® Fitness classes in Whatcom County since 2014.

I believe exercising does not have to be boring, does not have to be a chore, and it can actually be enjoyable! I strive to make my classes welcoming, inclusive and challenging for everybody and every body. I offer easy-to-follow steps and a fun atmosphere so that everyone gets a very effective, yet fun cardio workout. I am currently teaching every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 AM in Birch Bay

. These classes are offered through the Blaine-Birch Bay Parks and Rec Dept, at 7511 Gemini Street. NEW! Starting May 2, 2022, I will be offering two more classes: Tuesdays at 5:30 PM and Saturdays at 9:30 AM inside Locker Room Fitness. These classes are not affiliated with the Locker Room and punch passes can be purchased at funfitnesswithceline.punchpass.com. I am also offering on-demand pre-recorded classes for $3/class, 24/7! Just go to celinem.zumba.com to access the library. What is Zumba®? We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. What is Zumba Gold®? It is modified, lower intensity Zumba® class with low-impact moves. Perfect for beginners, people recovering from injury, or looking for a low impact cardio workout.

It was a cool little surprise to have actress Zooey Deschaneel join the ZIN Academy last weekend.
And as she says: "I love dancing and I love these people. They’re all just so happy. Who wouldn’t love to be in a room full of 1,000 incredibly happy people? It’s a very accepting community. It’s not judgmental fitness, but just come as you are, enjoy yourself, have fun, move your body and be happy. You don’t have to know the choreography and the fun thing is you can put your own flair on it. You don’t have to do exactly what they’re doing. It’s not a serious dance class where everything needs to be perfect and your technique needs to be perfect."
