Heidi is a 1994 graduate of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston with the American Society. The Dance Company is currently in its 28th season and offer classes in TAP * JAZZ * BALLET * ACRO * CONTEMPORARY and HIP HOP. The Dance Company home of the "Heart & Soul" competition team has performed in Disney's Magic Kingdom in 2000, Royal Carribeans "Soverign of the Sea", Enchantment of the Sea" and "Marin

er of the Sea" Heidi was also named Star Systems teacher of the year 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009. My mission at The Dance Company is to teach children the proper technique of dance in a patient and caring environment!!

SOME DANCERS BLOOM LATER

Not every great dancer is impressive at eight.

Some are.

Some aren't.

Some dancers need time to develop strength, confidence, musicality, coordination, or simply the maturity to understand what they're being asked to do.

Childhood isn't an audition for adulthood.

A dancer who is behind today isn't necessarily behind forever.

Sometimes they're just on a different timeline.

THE DANCER WHO GETS CORRECTED THE MOST

Sometimes the dancer getting the most corrections isn't the dancer doing the worst.

It may be the dancer a teacher knows can handle more.

It may be the dancer with more potential.

It may simply be the dancer whose next level requires more attention.

Not every correction is a negative judgment.

Sometimes correction is evidence that someone believes there's more in you.@
