Cedar Hill Jr Gun Club

We train mostly kids, but anybody who wants to learn to shot and compete in the Olympic shooting sports is welcome to join our club. The sport is shot at local clubs affiliated with the USA Shooting Organization, which is the governing body for the Olympic Shooting Sports in the United States. The competitions at the national level are shot at venues such as Fort Benning, Georgia, Olympic Training

Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Camp Perry, Ohio, & Anniston, Alabama. The kids mostly compete and hoping to gain a rifle scholarship on one of the various NCAA collegiate rifle teams located throughout the country. We train individuals to compete with not only the Olympic Rifle, but with pistol as well. The club has helped train numerous state champions with some winning at the Junior Olympics held every year in Colorado Spring, Colorado at the Olympic Training Center and gaining a spot on the National Development Team. There are 15 Olympic Shooting Sport of which the club teaches nine of the shooting events. There are 33 NCAA Rifle Teams with 13 division one universities and colleges that can give out full scholarship to attend schools like Ohio State, University of Kentucky or any of the three military academy's. There are a handful of Universities that give out scholarship for pistol shooting as a club sport.
