It's officially time to make this post. It's with so many mixed emotions and one of THE HARDEST decisions I have ever made.
First, I am so incredibly humbled and grateful to have built a successful business in this community for the last 15 years getting to do what I LOVE and coach your children. I am so thankful for all the amazing coaches that have worked for me over the last 1.5 decades and how they loved your kids and helped them succeed and achieve their goals and learn new skills. I recognize that I would not have had the impact or success that I have had without them.
I am so blessed to have so many cherished memories. I have cried many tears looking through hundreds of pictures and videos from practices, showcases, and cheer competitions. This business has not just been a job; it's been my life and my greatest blessing after my own 5 children. It's blessed their lives in countless ways as well. There's been lots of highs and lows, struggles and triumphs, tears and smiles. There isn't anything quite like seeing the smile and a kid's face light up when they achieve a new skill or reach a milestone in their progress. It's magical.
I've also struggled, especially this last year, with not being the coach/business owner and mom that I want to be and expect from myself. My own kids have mostly grown up and out of the gym. I've juggled trying to be there for my kids' sports and activities and be the coach that my students deserve. Last Spring got really rough with traveling for Lexi's cheer comps and now Madex is playing high school ball and Jaxon is playing college ball and I hope to travel to see a few of his games too. All the late nights at the gym until 8:30 and 9:00 have taken their toll as well. It's time for a new chapter in my life and it seems surreal. I can't quite comprehend it.
I've known I needed to do something but I didn't know what or how. God and the Universe has made it pretty clear and it is with full confidence that I can now recommend my families to Revolution Sports Center. My friend and colleague in the field, Justen Millerbernd, has an incredible gym in Pocatello and now he is expanding into Blackfoot! Revolution Sports Center offers a top of the line all-around gymnastics program with bars and beam, tumbling and trampoline! If I can't coach your kiddos, I want them to have something even better and I believe you will find that with Justen and his incredible crew of coaches. Justen and I have a great collaborative relationship and have partnered on some things in the past. I know this will be a good transition and I am here to help your kiddos make that transition as needed. I'm not far. In fact, Revolution Sports Center is just two doors down in the old Bealls building. I have all the confidence that in the world that he will be able to take your kiddos to the next level. I'm grateful I can still be a small part of that and support your kids in achieving their goals.
Registration is open at https://www.revolutionsportscenter.com/blackfoot
I am keeping my equipment for a while and I will be available for privates or for supplemental classes as needed. I am just a phone call or text away.
Thank you again for an amazing 15 years and all of the little lives I've been able to be a part of. I am forever grateful. ❤️💙🤍🖤💜💚 Lots of Love, Coach Ashlee
