This photo shows Jarren Tissidimit about to catch the oncoming horse “Gene”. Behind him is Front Holder Jason Teton holding onto some rein and neck rope, even on his tip-toes as anchor horse Penny shows off his strength and poses for the crowd of Burley Idaho. Championship Consolation Race. Wolverine Canyon ran a tough 4th place. We went against some tough Fast, Fast Teams. First horse Lassie Cat did great! We did get hung up in the 3rd and 4th turn. The goal was to pass but we had to check up and go behind. Little error but Penny and Gene ran their hearts out and stood like they meant business. It was a fun weekend with the team. The weather was HOT upper 90s so we had to keep cool before the race.

Shout out to the Family/Neighbors, Teton Team for allowing us to Borrow horses if we needed to for the weekend. Always good to have help when we need it, Thank you again. This weekend all together everyone came to race and there was some Tough, Fast Teams.

Here’s to Shoshone-Bannock Fort Hall Festival 2026. Next race for us is Eastern Idaho State Fair.

A little rider point of view during Thursday practice. Lassie Cat comes into the exchange smooth and stops on a dime.
