PUBLIC NOTICE

Black River Youth Hockey is issuing this notice regarding the use of our association’s name, logo, and identity.

Please do not use the name “Black River Falls Youth Hockey,” “Black River Youth Hockey,” or any similar variation in connection with any fundraiser, raffle, event, sale, or promotion unless one hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds from that activity go directly to Black River Youth Hockey. Our name is not to be used to raise money for any other organization, individual, team, or cause.

Please also do not associate our name with events that are not ours. That includes advertising, social media posts, flyers, tickets, announcements, or statements that imply Black River Youth Hockey is a sponsor, partner, beneficiary, or organizer of an event when it is not.

Black River Youth Hockey is a youth sports organization. Families, players, and the community trust that when they see our name attached to a fundraiser, the money is going to our kids and our program. Using our name for anything else is misleading and is not authorized.

Anyone who has already used our name in connection with an upcoming event is asked to remove it immediately from all materials and communications. Anyone wishing to hold a fundraiser that benefits Black River Falls Youth Hockey, with 100% of proceeds coming to the association, must obtain written approval from the Board in advance.

Thank you for respecting our name and supporting youth hockey in Black River Falls.

🏒Looking for a fun, active new sport for your kid? Come join us on October 3rd from 11-1pm!
🏒We will provide all the gear and skates!
🏒This is a great opportunity for the kids to get on the ice, learn the basics, and experience the excitement of hockey!
