SELF CARE! So important for our mind and body! Never forget to tend to your needs it's not selfish!

This week has been tough! I have noticed a little more pain in my lower back. I was reminded by my accountability group and the trainers that the soreness could be coming from somewhere else! Tight hip flexors or glutes could be the cause. So I tapped into some intentional focused stretching and foam rolling.

Be proactive and choose appropriately for what your body needs! We only get one body, take care of it! Be mindful! Happy Sunday!

I added something new to my salads recently, ! Have you heard of them? They are a great addition to salads, sandwiches, soups, wraps and even smoothies! Most varieties are rich in potassium, iron, zinc and magnesium! They are also a great source of antioxidants!

CONSISTENCY will get you results and help maintain those results when life happens! Do you have a great routine that helps you succeed?

It all starts with a plan! That plan should include exercise, water, sleep, nutrition and personal growth! That plan is a ! I recently had to take a month off from any movement besides walking. I wasn't sure how my body would respond. However, since I am consistent and nothing else changed I feel like I didn't lose a beat!
