A little late on this one, but here we go!
Big Sky Super Nationals Update 9/11

We hauled down to Belgrade to wrap up our season at GALLATIN SPEEDWAY.

To kick off the night, the 1H drew the 56 and the 1X drew the 75, respectively lining us up 4th (1H) and 6th (1X). The track was fast, and Ted Hample was lights out quick, but we were able to each move up 2 spots to finish 2nd and 4th.

Late Models got to wrap up the show for the evening, so the track was slick by the time we got out there. 1X lined up 5th and 1H in 6th. Finding a groove right away, the 1H started to pick off cars with the 1X in tow. We reeled in the 29 and tossed a slide job in lap traffic, he crossed it over, and a yellow came out. With the 29 on the front row for the restart, and the 1X and 1H side by side behind. After a handful of laps, the 1H crossed over the 29 and took the lead. While all this was going on the 01 was sneaking into the top 3. A late race caution restacked the field with 5 laps to go. Aiming for a spot on the track that looked to be taking rubber, the 1H took off, only to find out there was no rubber. This allowed the 01 to dip to the bottom and take away the diamond line we had been running. For the last 4 laps, we were side by side, only to come up short by 0.015 seconds at the Checkered and The 1X ended the night in 4th!

Overall it was a fun night to wrap up a fun season. Thanks to all of the fans who come out and support this crazy hobby every week, all the family and friends who lend a hand, and all of the Marketing Partners who make this possible. We’re already making plans for 2027, and can’t wait to share them with you!

Well we have wrapped up the 2026 Season at Electric City Speedway.
The Races were cancelled on Sunday due to a heavy storm moving in, but here’s how Saturday played out….

We decided to get some laps on the new 1H Late Model prior to next season, and I’m glad we did, kinda.
During the heat race when a caution came out, the Oil Pressure went to zero, we immediately pulled off and shut it down to avoid any further damage to the engine. After some investigation, the main bearings were wiped out, so it will be pulled and sent back to be fixed ready for the 2027 season.

Meanwhile, the 1X was in a close battle for the Track Championship, with only a 17 point lead, there wasn’t much room for hiccups. In the heat race, the 1X and 29 traded slide jobs back and forth. On the last lap, some slight contact was made, and the 1X sat sideways in the bottom of turn 3/4.

After some shuffling of features, as it was hard to tell if a storm was going to hit, Late Models went out after the Sprint Cars. Starting 10th on the field, the 1X had some work to do.
Initially, cars got lined up on the bottom, while others searched around. A yellow came out at the halfway point, on the restart, cars stacked up and we were found sitting in the middle of a stack up. Damage to the nose, hood, fender, radiator, and rack, the officials did everything they could to make it so all cars involved could continue. A late race charge from Dad to 6th was good enough to secure the 2026 Wissota Late Model Track Championship!

We are geared up and ready to head to the Big Sky Super nationals at GALLATIN SPEEDWAY this Friday. We will see you there!

T’was a good night at Electric City Speedway last night.

We lined up on the outside of the front row for our heat, after a first lap caution, we took off and picked up the heat win by 6 seconds.

Much cooler temperatures and a breezy afternoon led to a slick and racey track surface.

In the feature we lined up to the outside of the 09 on the front row. Took off with the lead for a long green flag run for nearly 15 laps, then we had a few late race yellows. After holding off the 09 and 44, we were able to pick up win number 7 on the year!

Thanks to all of our fans, friends, and marketing partners that support this racing program. We’re back at Electric City Speedway tonight for the final time this season with the Midwest Mod!

Electric City Speedway Recap 8/22

We hauled the late models to Electric City speedway on Saturday, it was a large event for street stocks paying $2026 to win. A regular scheduled event was on tap for our Wissota Late Models.

Heat #1 - 1H
Started P3 - Finished P4

Heat #2 - 1X
Started P2 - Finished P1

Feature-
1X Started P4 - Finished P2
1H Started P3 - Finished P3

The warmer temps, and no rain in the forecast gave us a slick surface we’d been looking for all year. The perfect time for some setup changes we wanted to try. There was just enough moisture around the bottom to have an advantage if you wanted to keep it right around the infield tires. The 1H got to 2nd, and got into the corner a little too hot and looped it, having to tag the tail. A couple more yellows came out for spins, and when the checkered flew, the 1X came home in 2nd, and the 1H charged back to third!

We’re back at Electric City Speedway for Racers appreciation night this Saturday and Sunday! Come on out and enjoy IMCA Mods, Midwest Mods, Super Stocks, and Street Stocks for the last time this season! It’s gonna be a fun weekend you’re not gonna want to miss!

Electric City Speedway Recap 8/15-

After receiving a ton of rain on Friday, it was questionable on if it would even be dried up enough to get into the racetrack on Saturday. The ECS crew spent a bunch of time rolling in the pit area to get haulers in.

As you can imagine, after nearly 1” of rain fell less than 24 hours prior, the track had some character.

Midwest Mod -
Heat Race - P8 to P1
Feature - P7 to P1 🏁

For the first time this season Raecyn drew the pill, and I’m not sure who told him he’s supposed to get the highest one…. With the #100 we had some work to do. In the heat race, a couple cautions came out, and allowed us to climb from 8th to the win.
We rolled off 7th in the main event, and after taking our time picking off cars on the hammer down racetrack, a caution flew with 8 to go. Coming to the white flag, we stole the lead from the 4C and picked Win Number 5 on the year with the mod.

Late Model-
1X Heat - P1 to P1
1H Heat - P4 to P2

1X Feature - P7 to P4
1H Feature - P4 to P9 (DNF)

The 1X started on the Pole the heat race and got out to a commanding lead, picking up the heat race win.

The 1H started 4th in his heat, and after a couple cautions, found a groove behind the 05, and came home in P2.

A farm session right before the late model feature was an effort from the track crew to try and give us a smoother, more racey surface. After taking the green, the 1H got to the lead on Lap 2, quickly stretching out to a straightaway advantage. When we caught lap traffic, the 05 reeled us in and took over the lead. On lap 30/36, we got to bouncing through the holes, and the LF tie rod bolt stripped off the 1H and the 2nd place run ended in the concrete on the backstretch. The caution worked in favor of the 1X as with everyone getting strung out all across the speedway, it was difficult to make up ground. At the end of the 36 lap feature, the 1X ended up 4th, and the 1H was 9th with a damaged race car.

We’re all put back together and ready to unload at Electric City Speedway this Saturday with the Late Models!
