For all of you asking about 10' Crappie poles, I finally found a rod blank that I like and was planning on building up a few for the spawn, but I just received a message that the blanks are on backorder for 8 weeks. So that plan is put on hold for a couple of months now. Hopefully they'll get here faster than they say and I can get some made up.

Help me out please. All of you bass fishing folks.... what is your favorite size and action rod? That one rod that you use for multiple fishing situations... Maybe you tie on a spinnerbait one day, then you might drag a Texas rigged worm with it the next. The rod you'd want if you had to choose just one all around fishing rod. A friend of mine brought a rod to me that his Dad bought him years ago, so it has some sentimental value to him. The rod guides had old cloudy, cracked, and peeling epoxy on them and didn't look very good. I removed all of the old epoxy and thread, then rewrapped the rod guides with new thread and new epoxy. Turned out looking good as new.

Nothing fancy on this one, it's all about pulling in the hawgs. 7'3" medium heavy fast action, split Winn grip handle, and Fuji Micro guides. Just have to let the epoxy dry and it'll be ready to go.
