Sometimes you have to look beyond what a building is today and imagine what it can become.

What was once an empty warehouse is being transformed into a place where kids will learn new skills, families will gather, tournaments will bring visitors to our community, and memories will be made for years to come.

As parents, coaches, and business leaders, we’ve experienced the challenge of finding quality indoor space for practices, tournaments, and year-round activities.

Next Play is our answer—a modern indoor recreation destination designed to serve Bismarck-Mandan today and for generations to come.

Big ideas need community conversations.

Today we had the opportunity to share the vision for Next Play at 1 Million Cups and talk about what it takes to bring a project like this to life.

Projects of this scale don’t happen overnight. They take planning, partnerships, patience, and a community willing to dream bigger about what’s possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, shared ideas, and continues to support the vision. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to keeping the community involved as Next Play moves forward.

The goal was never to compete with what Bismarck already has.

The reality is, athletes are being turned away every day due to lack of space.

Next Play is about stepping into that gap.

Creating more access. More opportunity. More room for the next generation of athletes.
