We have partnered with Monsta Athletics & All American Athletics through our YouTube channel Tomahawk Bat Reviews to release an awareness bat in honor of MMIW or “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women”
For the majority of you, you mostly like don’t know what “MMIW” is and how it’s impacted the Native American Indigenous communities across the United States, Canada and Alaska for many many years with it never really gaining mainstream media attention.
Here’s some statistics for you:
- Indigenous Women (girls +) murdered 10x higher than all other ethnicities.
- Murder is the 3rd leading cause of death for Indigenous Women (Centers for Disease Control).
- More than 4 out of 5 Indigenous Women have experienced violence (84.3%) (National Institute of Justice Report).
- Indigenous Women are 2xs more likely to be r***d than Anglo-American white women
- Murder rate of Indigenous Women is 3xs higher than Anglo-American women.

100% of the proceeds of this bat will be donated to MMIW to help with fundings from search parties for the victims, pay for funerals, help the families of the victums and many other facets that deal with the aftermath.
