It is with a very heavy heart that I recently learned of the passing of my friend, Chuck Hakansson, MRT. Chuck and I go back many years. He worked with my RacquetMaxx Team along with Todd Mobley for many years at the Memphis Open event and many other events. We had many great adventures not only in the stringing room but also at the Rum Boogie on Beale Street and our daily breakfast at the Blue Plate cafe. After I left life on the Tournament Circuit, Chuck and Todd took over and continued without me until the Memphis Tournament was no more. Chuck also took the helm of the Dothan Challenger event after I retired. In 2017, he talked me out of retirement for one tournament and I rejoined he and Todd at the Atlanta Open. He was a very generous and kind man and I know that I am a better person by having him in my life. He will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace my friend. ~Bob
