Alabama Region Sports Car Club of America (ALSCCA) Fun with cars. The Alabama region SCCA (sports car club of america) is the oldest region with a rich history of racing.

For the new folks, come out to an autocross (solo) and get your feet wet on the cheap, and catch the bug. We race in various forms, ranging from parking lot sized autocrosses, multi-acre rallycrosses, wheel-to-wheel race on famous tracks like Barber Motorsports Park, time trials (time attack racing against the clock) throughout the region, and we even give back to the community with a teen driver clinic where new drivers can learn car control! The ALSCCA is about to make history as we approach our largest event ever, the SCCA Hoosier Super Tour, taking place at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham the weekend of Aug. 29-30. We're co-hosting with the Tennessee Valley Region (TVR) as we welcome more than 400 registrants to this competition. If you're looking to sign up or volunteer, you need to be quick. The 7th event of the Corsa Crew ALSCCA Autocross Championship Points series is coming up this weekend, August 15, at Barber Motorsports Park Proving Ground in Birmingham. This one is also a SEDiv Solo Series event and points qualifier, so we have just a few spots remaining. Register before this Wednesday at Motorsportreg.com and confirm your place before we reach the maximum capacity of 90 slots.

BACK TO SCHOOL: Join us August 8 for a special Road Rally School and practice TSD (time, speed, distance) road rally. This in-person classroom event is tailored especially for beginners or those who want to improve their road rally performance.

The day begins with an instructional program at Parnell Memorial Library in Montevallo in the morning session followed by a practice road rally that ends at Durbin Farms in Clanton for lunch and time to share insights from the class. Your instructors, Andy Williams and Jim Farris, are expert road rally competitors with many years of experience in this discipline. This event is the perfect way to prepare for the next competitive ALSCCA TSD road rally taking place later in the year.
