The Northeast Community YMCA is excited to introduce the amazing team that will be leading our Summer Day Camp this year! Our staff is full of energy, compassion, and a passion for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for every camper.

From games and outdoor adventures to learning experiences and team-building activities, our counselors are ready to make this summer one to remember. We are grateful for their dedication and commitment to serving our youth and community.

A special milestone for our Crocheting and Quilting Class! 🧵✨

We are excited to celebrate the completion of our very first quilt. This beautiful project represents weeks of dedication, creativity, learning, and fellowship among our participants.

We are so proud of everyone who contributed their time and talent to make this quilt a reality. Thank you for sharing your skills, encouraging one another, and helping build a strong sense of community through this class.

Tuesday was a great day of service! As the saying goes, "When two or more are gathered," amazing things can happen. We had a successful food distribution and were able to serve many individuals and families in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this event possible. Your commitment to serving others continues to make a positive impact throughout our community. Together, we are stronger and can accomplish so much more!

What an incredible first week of Summer Camp at the Northeast Community YMCA! 🎉☀️

Our campers have jumped right into a summer filled with fun, friendship, learning, and adventure. From games and activities to new experiences and lots of laughter, Week 1 has been nothing short of amazing. We are grateful to our dedicated staff, volunteers, parents, and community partners who help make these memorable moments possible.

The Northeast Community YMCA is excited to host a Line Dance Class starting Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM!

Another amazing afternoon of line dancing at the Northeast Community YMCA! The energy, fellowship, and fun continue to grow each week as participants learn new dances, stay active, and enjoy time together in the gymnasium.

Special thanks to Mrs. Tracy L Williams for her outstanding instruction and to County Commissioner Lashunda Scales for helping make this program possible for our community.

Join us every Tuesday through June 9, 2026, at the Northeast Community YMCA, 628 Red Lane Road, Birmingham, AL 35215. Free for YMCA members and only $5 for nonmembers. Come dance, exercise, and have a great time with us!
