My other passion besides metal detecting, Motorcycling! This is my 2005 Triumph America that I am desperately trying to get myself in condition to ride to the Fall Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally in October.
This "Rehab" stuff ain't for sissies btw. Trying to bounce back from 3 spinal cord depressions is not an easy task. BUT... Yesterday was a personal milestone! For the first time in 109 days since my April 4th 2017 cervical disc replacement surgery and subsequent discovery of 3 spinal cord depressions, I walked from the house, down both sets of concrete steps (12 steps, no handrails), to the car, and back when I got home again, WITHOUT my cane ever touching the ground! I went inside and cried I was so happy!
Hopefully I'll be ready to do some swinging before the detecting season is over AND I'll be able to climb back on my Triumph and enjoy it too.
NEVER HIDE - NEVER QUIT - NEVER SURRENDER!
