๐Ÿฅ‡ MEDAL MONDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿฅ‡

There is one number in running that tells you everything you need to know about how prepared a runner truly is. It is not necesairly their finish time. It is their mile splits. And what Fletcher Roberts did at the Garmin Kansas City Marathon this past weekend tells the whole story. ๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Fletcher flew up to Kansas City to take on one of the Midwestโ€™s premier race events, a stunning tour through the Heart of America past the World War I Museum, the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, the Country Club Plaza, Union Station, and some of KCโ€™s most vibrant neighborhoods. Beautiful course, but make no mistake, this is a hilly race and it will absolutely test you if you are not ready for it.

Fletcher was ready.

His first mile? 8:37.
His last mile? 8:31.

๐Ÿ’ฅBOOM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

He ran the last mile of a hilly marathon SIX SECONDS FASTER than the first. Let that sink in. That is a masterclass in pacing, discipline, and showing up to race day with the fitness and confidence that only comes from doing the work in training. ๐Ÿ’ช

This is exactly what we talk about when we say trust the process. Fletcher trusted it. And the splits do not lie. Outstanding race, Fletcher! We are so proud of you! ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿฅ‡ MEDAL MONDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿฅ‡

The Resolute Running race reports just keep on coming and we could not be more proud! This past weekend Resolute Runners Bradley Wells and Matt Grainger took their 50 state mission to the great city of Baltimore for Charm Cityโ€™s 26th Annual Baltimore Running Festival, part of the Baltimore Running Festival! ๐Ÿฆ€ ๐Ÿ™๏ธ

Now if you know the Baltimore Marathon, you know it is not a course that gives anything away for free. It winds through every corner of the city, showing off the unique character of Baltimore from start to finish, and it does so with some very real hills along the way. This is a course that demands respect!

Bradley and Matt gave it respect, and then they handled it like the bosses they are. ๐Ÿ’ช

For Bradley, Baltimore was marathon number 42 and state number 32. Forty two marathons, thirty two states. The 50 state mission is well past the halfway point now and building momentum with every single race! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿ’ฅKAPOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

For Matt, Baltimore was marathon number 15, and he casually ran a 3:38! Milestone after milestone for this guy and he keeps showing up and delivering every single time. ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ’ฅWHAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

These two are not just running friends, they are on one of the most epic journeys in amateur running together, state by state, mile by mile, medal by medal. We are so proud to have them representing Resolute Running across this great country and we cannot wait to see where they go next!

Congratulations, Bradley and Matt! 18 states to go, Bradley. The finish line of this journey is going to be something truly special. ๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿšจ BREAKING NEWS FROM NEW YORK CITY ๐Ÿšจ

We have an update from our trio of Resolute Runners in NYC that we absolutely did not see coming and honestly could not make up if we tried. ๐Ÿ˜‚

After crushing their races at the Wineglass Marathon last weekend, Julie Jones, Anna Hurst, and Sarah Jensen headed to New York City to keep the celebration going. Among the highlights of their trip was a little concert at a small venue called Madison Square Garden to see a fellow runner named Harry Styles. ๐ŸŽค

Now here is where it gets good.

Harry Styles, as many of you may know, is a legitimate marathoner (sub 3 runner) with some seriously impressive finish times! So naturally, Julie decided he needed a Resolute Running team shirt. ๐Ÿƒ

We were skeptical, not going to lie. Getting anything to Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden seemed like a tall order. But Julie Jones is not most people.

She got close enough to the stage and she THREW that shirt right to him. And he KEPT IT. ๐Ÿคฏ ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’ฅWOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

Harry Styles is now the proud owner of a Resolute Running shirt and we could not be more proud or more delighted by this turn of events. Welcome to the team, Harry! We will get you set up with a training plan whenever you are ready. ๐Ÿ˜

The Wineglass races AND Harry Styles wearing our gear? Not a bad week for the Resolute Running family! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ… RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

Wir sind in Berlin! ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช This next race report takes us all the way to Germany where two Resolute Runners made history of their own at the BMW Berlin Marathon, one of the six Abbott World Marathon Majors and one of the most iconic races on the entire planet!

First up, Aman Wadhwa. Aman had this race on his radar since 2025, when he had to defer his entry and wait an entire extra year for his moment. That wait ended on race day in Berlin and Aman made every second of it count. On the streets of one of the worldโ€™s greatest cities, with more than 50,000 runners and millions of spectators lining the course, Aman Wadhwa ran his very first marathon ever!

4:23. First marathon. Berlin. Done. ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ’ฅBAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

What a way to become a marathoner. We could not be more proud of you, Aman! ๐Ÿ˜

And then there is Ye Shin, who traveled to Germany with one very specific mission in mind. She wanted to earn her first Abbott World Marathon Majors star and there is no more legendary place to earn it than Berlin. In her own words, โ€œThe experience was simply amazing and it still feels surreal that Iโ€™ve accomplished it.โ€

Ye crossed the line in 4:51. Beautiful, right? Now here is the part that will make your jaw drop. The weekend BEFORE Berlin, Ye ran the Air Force Marathon in 4:49. Back to back weekends. Back to back marathons. Nearly identical times both times. ๐Ÿคฏ

๐Ÿ’ฅZOOM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

That is not just impressive. That is an extraordinary level of fitness and toughness that most runners can only dream of. Ye Shin is an absolute machine and we are so incredibly proud to call her a Resolute Runner. ๐Ÿ’ช

Congratulations to Aman and Ye! Berlin will be a story you tell for the rest of your lives. ๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ… RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

Sometimes the best running stories are the ones that take an unexpected turn and end up being exactly what they were supposed to be. This is one of those stories. ๐Ÿงก

Resolute Runner Alie B. Gorrie had her heart set on running the Dollywood Half Marathon, a race that would have carried some very special meaning given the recent passing of Dolly Parton. When a conflict arose and that door closed, Alie B. did not sulk. She pivoted. She found another race and she showed up anyway.

On September 20th, Alie B. laced up in the nationโ€™s capital for the DC Half Marathon, running past monuments, through the streets of Washington, and soaking in one of the most beautiful urban race courses in the country.

The goal was simple. Stay relaxed, have fun, and treat it as a quality training run. Because Alie B. has her sights set on something much bigger. The New York City Marathon in November!

Mission accomplished on every front. Alie B. ran extremely well and her splits were an absolute thing of beauty from start to finish. Controlled, consistent, and confident. Exactly what you want to see from an athlete building toward a major. ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ’ฅSHAZAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

The road to New York is going well, Alie B. We cannot wait to see what you do on that big stage! ๐Ÿ—ฝ

๐Ÿ… WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

We have some catching up to do because this story is simply too good not to tell. On September 19th, Resolute Runners Dan Mumford and Cate Miller headed to Dayton, OH for the Air Force Marathon and Half Marathon, and the way they got there might be the coolest thing we have ever written in a race report. โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Dan and Cate are both Air Force pilot instructors based in San Antonio, TX. So how did they get to Ohio? They flew their T-6A jet up as part of a military training exercise. They literally flew a military aircraft to their race weekend. We cannot even get upgraded to first class! ๐Ÿ˜‚

And then they went and ran like the absolute elites they are.

Dan lined up for the full marathon with one goal in mind. Get a quality workout in for his upcoming Chicago Marathon. His strategy? Walk the first 3 miles as a warmup, then lock in and run the final 23 miles as a hard training effort.

Even with a 3 mile walk built into the race, Dan still crossed the finish line in 3:12. ๐Ÿ˜ค

๐Ÿ’ฅBOOM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

And if you caught our Chicago race report from last week, you already know what happened when Dan showed up fully rested and fully focused two weeks later. A blazing 2:41:07 at one of the biggest marathons in the world! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Ohio was the setup. Chicago was the payoff. What a plan! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Cate took on the half marathon as a training run. Just keeping things easy. Staying fit. Nothing too serious.

And she ran a 1:37. ๐Ÿคฏ

๐Ÿ’ฅPOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

Taking it easy and still running a 1:37. Expect some monster performances from Cate very soon!

We are insanely proud of both of these incredible athletes and we would be lying if we said we were not at least a little bit jealous of the life they lead. Flying jets, running fast, and making it all look effortless. That is Dan and Cate in a nutshell. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ…

Congratulations to you both! Keep being amazing! โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ… WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

Some runners show up just to finish. And then there is Cathy Beasley, who shows up to compete! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

On October 3rd, Cathy toed the line at the Jimmie Hale Mission Rescue Run 10k right here in Homewood, Alabama, a race that supports the incredible work of the Jimmie Hale Mission. A great cause and a great race all in one.

Cathy has had an absolutely fantastic year of running, tackling everything from 5ks to half marathons, and every single one of those races has one thing in common. When Cathy lines up, she goes for it. She competes with everything she has got and the results keep speaking for themselves.

The Jimmie Hale 10k was no different.

1st place in her age group. ๐Ÿ†

๐Ÿ’ฅWAM!๐Ÿ’ฅ

Another race, another podium. We honestly should not be surprised at this point but it never gets old celebrating Cathy doing what Cathy does. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what the rest of the year brings! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ… WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY RACE REPORT ๐Ÿ…

We have another incredible performance to celebrate from the BHM 13.1, presented by our friends at the Alabama Race Series, and this one deserves its own spotlight!

Resolute Runner Cheryl Gayheart toed the line knowing two things. First, this course is hilly and it will make you work for every single mile. Second, severe weather was threatening to crash the party entirely. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Cheryl did not care about either of those things!

She went out, ran a fantastic and gutsy race, conquered the hills under some genuinely ominous skies, and crossed that finish line in 1st place in her age group. ๐Ÿ†

๐Ÿ’ฅKAPOW!๐Ÿ’ฅ

Congratulations, Cheryl! You earned every bit of that age group win! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ™Œ THANK YOU MEGHANN! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Last night the Resolute Running team had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Meghann Featherstun MS RD CSSD of Featherstone Nutrition () for a private sports nutrition workshop and wow, did she deliver! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Meghann is one of the leading sports dietitians for runners in the country and it showed from the very first minute. The knowledge she shared, the way she broke down complex nutrition science into practical, actionable guidance, and the genuine passion she has for helping runners perform at their best made for one of the most valuable evenings our team has had in a long time. We took pages of notes and left fired up to fuel smarter. ๐Ÿ“

If you are a runner looking to truly dial in your nutrition, whether it is daily fueling, race day strategy, hydration, recovery, or body composition, we cannot recommend Meghann highly enough. Head over to www.featherstonenutrition.com and reach out to her. You will not regret it. ๐Ÿงก

And to our Resolute Running team, this is exactly what we are talking about when we say being part of this community is about so much more than just the miles. Access to world class experts, shared learning experiences, and a team that invests in your growth every single step of the way. This is what makes Resolute Running special. We could not be more grateful to Meghann for an incredible evening. ๐Ÿ˜
