Today is World Bicycle Day, when was the last time you rode a bicycle? Can you still do it? Did you ever learn how?

Learning to ride a bicycle is alot like life's challenges, when you first start riding you may be nervous, you may fall off, but the important thing is you don't give up! Even if you fall off, you get back up and try it again and before you know it, you're riding with the wind blowing in your face enjoying the breeze and delighted in your new talent! Don't be the person standing on the side of the rode being "passed by," be the rider and and roll through gracefully, riding into your destiny!

Hi, my name is Aaliyah Milhouse. I've known
Miss G since I was a sophomore in high school
and she was my librarian. At First I didn't
really try and get to know her, but she's
the type of person who will constantly
make an effort to try and get to know you
because that's who she is. She shows love
to everybody around her and she's one of
the people who can love you as you are.
She's taught me how to love myself as I
am, but grow in spite of
And love myself. Not in spite of ,but you know,
through it, while loving myself. She taught me
that self love is one of the most important
things that you can do because there's only
one you and nobody's going to love you
like you can love yourself. She also
taught me that you need to be, you! You need
to work for what you want because it's
not going to be handed to you on a
silver platter because the most things in
life aren't. Life takes hard work,
things you love take hard work, and
being who you are takes hard work.

My name is Coretta Griffin and I am a mother, daughter, sister and friend. I pride myself on being honest and empathetic to everyone. I have always loved quick and loved hard, but I use to pray that God would change that part of me because I often found myself getting hurt because of those very positive characteristics. With every heartache and broken promise, I found myself still smiling and remaining positive; UNTIL!! It wasn’t until I became massively depressed when I realize that this life is mine to live, and I couldn’t allow anyone else to dictate how I lived it!

All the while I was smiling and being a glimmer of light for others, I was losing myself. A very close friend recommended that I looked into Life Coaching. She knew what I was going through and the battles I was facing but she also knew that when it came to being a pillar of faith and hope for others it brightens even my darkest of days. I never attempt to come across as abrasive, but I am always honest and sometimes honesty hurts. I’m not the person that will tell you what you want to hear just because you want to hear it. I am the person that will tell you what you need to hear when you need to hear it!

Life is all in what we make it and the problem for most of us is we don’t know what to make of it. We have all heard the phrase, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” But how? Where do you start? What ingredients should you add? Should it be sweet or bitter? My position in your life is to assist you in gathering the required ingredients (confidence, ambition, etc.) and your desired ingredients, rolling out the hard parts of your lemons (life), cutting and squeezing out the juice (your potential), and making your lemonade! Remember it’s your cup…. Drink It!

A positive mindset is a tendency toward optimistic thinking. When you have a positive outlook, you take the ups and downs of life in stride. You recognize difficulties and negative outcomes for what they are, but you also try to focus on the positive aspects of a situation.
