Every beginner listen to this. Building your game around hitting *unattackable* balls is the cornerstone of pickleball strategy. It’s why bangers (players that only drive the ball) can only be effective if we let them. Zane’s comments on court positioning at the NVZ line - is the 2nd tip here. Don’t let your opponents get balls low and at your feet by not closing to the kitchen line.

If you are looking for a summer league in Birmingham, Magic City Pickleball Club has some openings!

If you want to jump in a summer league, here’s what levels - Men’s and Women’s - we have slots remaining:

Mondays: Women’s 2.5 : 12pm-2pm

Wednesdays: Women’s 3.5 : 12-2pm and Men’s 2.5 7-9pm.

Thursdays: Men’s 3.0: 5:30-7:30pm

Friday: Women’s 55+ : 9-11am

You don’t need a partner - we are playing a scramble - so each round you play against and with different partners. DUPR sanctioned leagues.
