UAB secured a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Birmingham Bandits in BCL T20 2026! 🏏🔥

Pavan Kumar M led the chase with a composed 35 runs including 1 four and 2 sixes, while Raghu R contributed a valuable 27 runs. Jeevan N added 9 runs to help UAB get over the line.

UAB Cricket Club produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Birmingham Panthers by 81 runs.

Batting first, UAB posted 175/9 in 25 overs, anchored by a brilliant 63 off 61 balls from Michael S and contributions from Prasanna and Yashab. UAB managed to set a competitive total.

The bowlers then delivered a masterclass, restricting Birmingham Panthers to just 94 all out in 23.2 overs. Ankit J (3/19) and Prasanna K (3/23) led the attack, while the supporting bowlers maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings.

Dheeraj bowled a miserly spell of 1/7 in 3 overs, including a maiden, while Gaurav returned excellent figures of 1/5 in 3 overs. Rajendra kept things tight with 1/14 in 5 overs, including a maiden, and Rohit chipped in with 1/19 in 4 overs.

A disciplined bowling effort and strong fielding display ensured UAB completed a comprehensive 81-run victory and collected valuable points in the tournament. 🏏🔥
