Congratulations to our Blazer Baseball team on an impressive BCIAA Quarterfinal victory over second-seeded Oley Valley last night! ⚾🔥

Sophomore Greyson Bell was outstanding on the mound, throwing a no-hitter (16 strikeouts) in the Blazers’ 2-0 win over the Linx!

The Blazers are back in action tonight as they take on Muhlenberg in the BCIAA Semifinals at Owl’s Field. First pitch of game one is set for 4:00 PM, with Boone playing in the second game, which does not have a set start time but is expected to be around 6:30 PM.

Good luck tonight, Blazers! We're all rooting for you!

Proud of you Evan!

Today we say goodbye to one of the most impactful Penn State Berks bowlers, Evan Guthrie. While Evan was never the most talented bowler on the lanes, he made up for that play with his positive attitude, encouragement of teammates, and just being the best chief vibes officer a team could ask for. He was the founding member for the Unsung Hero award, and he serves as a great reminder that you don’t need to be the best bowler on the lanes to make the team better! Evan thank you for everything and good luck at University Park! WE ARE!!!! 💙🤍

HUGE congratulations to former DB bowler & 2021 PA State Champion Alex Horton on qualifying in SECOND for the stepladder finals of the PBA Tournament of Champions! He'll be bowling on TV at 4:00 PM on Sunday 4/26 for a chance to win a PBA Major Title. Good luck Alex, we're all so proud back at DB!

Breanna and Emma-Grace competed in the singles portion of Regionals on Friday at Clearview. Both put up a great effort and represented DB well. Breanna finished 42/112. Emma-Grace finished 102/112. Good job!

Declan and Andrew competed in the singles portion of Regionals on Friday at Leisure Lanes. Both bowled incredibly well, making a run at States until the end. Andrew finished 14/144, coming just 10 pins shy of making it to States, and highest of all bowlers from Berks County. Declan finished 62/144 after catching a tough pair the last 2 games. Awesome job!

DB Boys started the day really strong, but struggled when they switched lanes and moved to the other end of the bowling center. Their great effort still resulted in an 11th place finish, highest of the Berks teams. Team was led by Declan Hamblen with a 703 series. Andrew Groller & Scotty Fine also shot above 600 with a 667 and a 628 respectively.
Awesome job & season, boys!
