Well everyone this year started as a tough one due to many people who have ran this game for years stepping down and putting it into the hands of a few who stepped up to make sure it never goes away..
But with that being said we have some great news to share with everyone!
This year we were able to raise quite a bit more money than we expected and that’s all thanks to all of you who showed up, showed your support and showed us why we want to continue this great game
This year we were able to raise $1360 to go direct to the tunnels to towers foundation which has helped many many families with the burden of a LODD in the fire service, and directly families we call ours..
We also threw in a curve ball this year to help raise money for the Gaudet & Pavlick family, two recent LODD’s the Binghamton Fire Department has had to go through along with their family’s. It’s been a tough road for a lot of people since and it felt great to raise the total of $1807 that Is going directly to helping the family’s travel out to Colorado this year to see their loved ones names be added to the Fallen Fight Fighters Memorial in Colorado Springs..
This is all thanks to everyone who had a part in this game, showed up to support, donated, and did their part it did not go unnoticed and we can’t thank you enough
With that being said we cannot wait to see what the next 20 plus years have in store for us and plan on taking it a step ahead every single year!
