It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend and long‑time club leader, Jack Yevchak. Jack served for many years as Vice President of the club, head of the Guardians, and our lead trainer, and he recently led the effort to build a cadre of trainers to carry our program forward.
Jack loved this club and was passionate about safety. He spent countless hours behind the scenes reviewing video, reaching out to members who needed a reminder on safe gun handling, and working one‑on‑one with shooters to help them become safer and more skilled.
Until recently, Jack was at the club nearly every day, donating his time, sharing his experience, and talking with anyone who wanted to learn. His patience, generosity, and superior training skills touched nearly everyone who came through our doors.
Jack was also a decorated war veteran and fi****ms instructor in the armed forces, and he brought that same professionalism, discipline, and sense of duty to everything he did here. We are deeply grateful for his service to our country and to our club.
Jack’s passing leaves a hole in our club family that cannot be filled, but his legacy will live on in our commitment to safety, training, and respect on the range. Please keep Jack and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
