It's been a very active last 48 hours. Tweaking and fine tuning things, getting this locomotive ready for her Maiden Voyage.

I see several people with new player profile pics, I see a few new captains who found all that on their own and were able to navigate it, so I know she's working ;o)

That said, I need to know who's having issues though. And what the issues are. If you can't join your team, if you cant access or edit your profile, etc.

The first thing - reinstall the app or log all the way out and back in. I had to do that yesterday too - fine on my computer, not fine on my phone - and the problem was the version of the App on my phone was not the latest version of the App. It's been updated 4 or 5 times now so if you're having these issues, it may be that situation. The App my have been updated after you installed it or signed in.

Also if you use any of the pre authorized services: Google, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft to sign in - that is how you sign in every time - you don't use your email and password for those services to sign in - you will always use those when prompted to sign in. ;o)

Thank you all for your patience and help - trouble shooting some of the issues has resolved a bunch of stuff so far, so let me know what issues you are experiencing, you can PM me if you don't want to post or text me if you got my number.

We haven't even been up for 48 hours and there's already 45 players registered on the App. That makes me 🙂....

I have done a lot of tweaking since going live. I am also learning how to get the latest and greatest version right to you guys. So if you're one of the few who got right on the App or you were on early yesterday - you're gonna want to log out, log back in and on the top bar - scroll to the right (swipe left) and go to "Check for updates" and make sure you have the latest version of the App.

We'll be frequently adjusting things as we see a need or adding features as we go to improve the App, so the App will be updated frequently. From here on, all of you should get notifications when you need to update or it will automatically update for you. At anytime you can hard update by choosing "Check For Updates."

Anyone who jumped in later last night or since - you should be fine.

All of you should be able to click on the "Teams" tab in the top bar or if you scroll down on your Dashboard Page there are "Quick Links" to: Standings, Schedule, Teams and Tournaments. You can click on Teams in either of those places and it will take you to a scrolling list of teams broke down into their divisions. There should be a "Join" option on every team, join your team. Once you join it also gives you a Leave option.

You may have to swipe left to see different options on different screens, so if you don't see an option to make yourself the Captain for example, swipe your page to the left and it should appear.

I will be gone most of today - so I won't be active with this till tonight, if you sign in and need to be approved I won't get to that till I get home tonight - so don't get all frustrated and make different accts or write yourself in, every person who signs up has to be approved before they can use the App.

At this point y'all should have no problems viewing the player list, finding yourself on there, click on your name and edit your profile. You can add a fancy thumbnail if you'd like, add your phone number and that is where player stats will be found once we start playing. ;o)

If you click on teams, you can find Teams in the top bar or when you scroll down on your Dashboard page. Tap/click on Teams, scroll to your team and add yourself with the Join button. One of you should be allowed to make yourself the Captain now. I see Kevin had no problems doing so.

Update the app if need be, I've done a ton of stuff to it today alone to improve the flow and functionality.

~~~~ Latest App Update ~~~~

Ahh the learning curve of developing technology has never been crazier but pretty damn fun and a little exciting even.

Unless you signed up/installed the app in the last 45 minutes, you may want to sign out and sign back in, On the Dashboard Page - that top bar scrolls to the left, go all the way to the end and you should see "Check for updates" and "Sign out" - be sure to check for updates. Everything is working on the computer, but when I jumped on my phone a little bit ago a bunch of stuff wasn't. Problems solved. So if you haven't signed out since yesterday or up till about 45-50 minutes ago, you will want to and then update the app. ;o)

I added features to ensure that doesn't happen in the future, you guys will get updates as I roll stuff out or update things in the App. ;o)

Again I appreciate all your patience as we iron this thing out.

It seems to be working pretty good for everyone who's signed up via Google. Most are ironed out and addressed so it should be pretty simple and easy to sign up, go to the Teams page, find your team and click join. For those of you who plan to be your teams captain, you should be able to assign yourself that role. Let me know if any of you are having issues. ;o)

When you sign up you will automatically have a player profile created for you, you can edit your thumbnail pic in there, edit your contact info and be added to the player list - you should also be able to see the other players who are signed up, you may not yet see write in players. This is also where your basic player stats will be found once the league gets started...

App update:

First off, thanks for being patient, rolling out new stuff is always an adventure. So far the last few folks have had no issues signing in and joining their teams and getting around on the App so that makes me happy to hear. Obviously it looks different and works different on My, Hoovie and Mikes end being the Admins.

When you do - you will NEED TO BE APPROVED by me before you can use the App. This happens for everybody so it's not a You thing, it's an added security measure for me to prevent certain types of people from having access to the App. And that's just looking out for each of you and everything we have built. ;o)

First thanks to those of you who signed up already - we'll have some kinks to iron out as happens with anything of this nature. Thanks for the patience.

All of you "should be able to" assign yourselves to your teams, one of you per team should be able to make yourself a Captain. I went and moved everybody who is signed up to your teams and assigned those of you Captains who are.

The new App is live. You will have to use a verified acct in order to sign up. You can use email/password and verification code OR you can use your Google, FB, Apple or Microsoft acct to sign up. It looks like I will also have to approve you joining, so if you sign up but I don't see it right away don't get frustrated - I will approve everyone who signs up as soon as I see the notification.

The nice thing about this App, you don't need to download and install another App on your phone. Use this just like you would any website on whatever web browser you already have installed but if you want to have it on your phone you can do that too. ;o)

Each team will need to have at least one member signed up and assigned as a Captain, you can do this yourselves. But one person on each team MUST be registered as a Captain, you will need to submit and verify your scores for each night. Players should be able to enter scores for games but Captains will need to verify and submit the final scores....

There is also a "write-in" feature so for those of you who just will not use the app, I get it, we can write you in no problem so you are present and accounted for in the league and on your team. ;o)

Good Morning Mother Shuckers. ;o)

A quick update on things as we get ready to kick off year #9 and the Fall 2026 season in 2 weeks.

Next Monday Sept 14th - The 3rd Annual Elmer Hyde Kickoff Classic will be a Switcholio event and will begin at 6:30pm. You don't need a partner, you can come with your partners, teams, etc, but you can fly solo too. $5 donation per person requested. I'll tell you all where 100% of it is going on Monday. This is not "mandatory" for any league players - this is just a fun night to shake the rust off, get back on the boards and get ready for the league to kick off the following week. And you'll learn the proceeds will hit close to home for all of us. ;o)

The league will officially kickoff the following Monday Sept 21st at 6:30 pm so make sure you get there as close to 6pm on the first night. Get with your teams, come pay the man in one shot - in full and we'll kick things off as close to 6:30 as possible. As of right this moment we have 26 teams signed up and divisions are currently, 6, 10 and 10. ;o)

I have been working on developing an App for the league, I'll be working on finalizing that this week. It's web based and accessible from any browser on our phones. I'll have more details on that on Monday Night too. ;o)
