Tonight we play West Harrison High, who stole two games during the regular season. Are you with us to start this district run????

To kick it off, it is only fitting to highlight the one who makes it happen behind the scenes.

Today our Senior Showcase Shoutout is:
Demontrae Beasley: team manager

This is Trae's 4th year as a Warrior in different capacities. He has played on 9th grade, JV, and served 2 years as the manager. Our Warriors make it happen on the court, but he makes everything run off the court. He has been very instrumental in making sure we are game ready: food, water, stats and encouragement. What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Team: Warriors
Favorite Player: Steph Curry--for his GOAT essence of sharp shooting ability and his influence on the youth in today's game.
Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Chavez

Logan Gildea #11

This is Logan's 4th year as a small forward for the Warriors. He has played on 9th grade, JV, and Varsity. What a pleasure to watch him grow as a player, especially his passion! What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Player: Lebron James--because he's the GOAT!
Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Samantha Sossaman Bradley
Plans after school: degree in mechanical engineer

Devantae Magee #10

This is Devantae's 3rd year as a utility guard for the Warriors. He has played on JV and Varsity. His ability to shoot the long ball or get to the rim makes him valuable, but his willingness to play defense is even more important. What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Player: Steph Curry--for his GOAT tendencies as a point guard and shooter
Favorite Teacher: Coach Cooper/Mrs. Bennett
Plans after school: attend school for welding and robotics

This is Savion's 4th year as a small forward for the Warriors. He has played on 9th grade, JV, and Varsity. He is the X-Factor of most games because he can bring energy on both sides of the court. What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Player: Anthony Edwards--for his shooting and forceful dunking ability

Cameron Jimerson #5

This is Cameron's 2nd year as a wingman for the Warriors. He has played on 9th grade and Varsity. During his time away, he made his education and passion for flying a top priority. And, boy did it payoff. He is the esteem recipient of the Aviation Science Tuskegee Scholarship, the Presidential Scholarship, and the Flight Trainer Scholarship. What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Player: Anthony Edwards--for his level and style of play with so much athleticism.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Dempsey

Warrior Nation!!!!! Ready for this upcoming week? We have one game only the road, but Friday is our Black Out Night at the Warrior Compound!!!!

Last week we finished 1-1, with a lost to Gulfport. Their speed was too much to cover in the man to man, while we allowed 2nd chance points on the offensive side. No doubt, the Warriors are seeking the win to remain in the hunt for playoff.

District play: 3-4

Next on the stop.....a visit to Ocean Springs tonight!! The key factor is rebounding on both sides of the ball. Offensively, everyone has to take advantage of their opportunity to score...especially the easy baskets.

Today our Senior Showcase Shoutout is:
Christian Williams #15

This is Chris' second year with the Warriors as a shooting guard. He has played on JV and Varsity. He made noise as a defender last year, but he is coming alive offensively. What makes him a WARRIOR??? Here is a little bit about him.

Favorite Team: Warriors
Favorite Player: Steph Curry--He changed the game by playing with heart.
Favorite Teacher: Coach Eric Guiako
Plans after school: college audio engineer
