Race recap from Outlaw Speedway. I believe 18 of us showed up. Car started running hot in hot laps, went down to cool it off and realized the water pump bolts were backing out, and it spit the gaskets out. Thanks to Sam Maxie we found some gaskets and got it back together. I drew a 93, terrible as always, which put me starting 4th row outside heat 2. I wound up finishing 2nd. After I went through the checker, the car started running hot again, Pulled down there and cooled it off and was putting water in it and noticed the water level kept dropping. We noticed the water pump had cracked from a bad bearing and leaking water everywhere. We ran around looking for a water pump and finally found one, I really appreciate you loaning us one J.c. Pearson! Got back to the trailer and started changing it out. Realized we didn’t have anymore gaskets, thanks Chris Gamble and Paul Gamble for the silicone. Thanks Randy D Varnado and my dad ofcourse for helping get it changed out quick. Went out for the feature 2nd row outside. Car felt great, I was running 4th most of the race, but I was happy with that 4th because it was with people that had been racing far longer than me. Car popped and shut down with 4 to go due to electrical issues. I can’t complain to much. I definitely had fun. Thanks to everyone else who may have helped me with something throughout the night and thanks to outlaw staff for a good night of racing.
