Bike the Beach will attract bikers, biker clubs, rider groups and biker fans from across, not only the Southeast, but the entire country, for a weekend celebration on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Bike Central will host events on Saturday September 3, 2016, featuring a Bike The Beach Showcase, in which a winner will be crowned in various categories, as well as Best in Show! Bike Central will also feature the Ms. Bike The Beach National Model Search, a three-round competition in which one girl will be crowned Ms. Bike The Beach, winning a $500 Cash Prize, and one year modeling contract as 2016 Suzuki Calendar Girl and Ms. Additional entertainment will be hosted at Bike Central and include live music, DJ’s, sponsor bike displays, food vendors, and festival games. Bike The Beach weekend will kick off Friday night September 2, 2015 with the Official Pre-Party at the Doc Bar and Grill on Gulfport Lake, form 6:00PM-10:00PM. The event will feature the First Round Bikini Contest for Ms. Bike The Beach, as well as local arts & crafts vendors, live music and great food. Bikers can pick up their official registration weekend wristbands and t-shirts at the Friday night event. This is a FREE EVENT to the public. On Sunday afternoon, Bike the Beach will host a Pub Crawl on Government Street in Downtown Ocean Springs. The event offers an opportunity for bikers to enjoy the restaurants and bars in Downtown Ocean Springs. The weekend will be capped off Monday, with a Labor Day Celebration BBQ Challenge at Pointe Cadet Pavilion on Biloxi Bay. The BBQ Bash On The Bay will feature a $250 Cash Prize BBQ Contest, as well as a Coast Wide DJ Competition featuring a $250 Cash Prize. Each event will offer a wide variety of bikes on display for fans an spectators to view.

“Whether one rides a cruiser, a classic, a custom, a street bike, a spyder, dirt bike, scooter or simply a good ole bicycle, we invite all bikers to join as official registered Bike The Beach Riders.” states Henderson. The 2016 Bike the Beach Official Rider registration can be found on the official website. Early bird registration is $40, before Aug 1, 2016. General registration is $50, after Aug 1, 2016. All registered bikers will receive an official Bike the Beach T-Shirt, the Official Bike The Beach helmet sticker to display during the weekend, and a Bike The Beach weekend wristband for entry into all official Bike The Beach events. Bike The Beach 2016 is a benefit event for Make-A-Wish, Mississippi. A portion of proceeds raised from the event will benefit Make-A-Wish, Mississippi. In addition, there will be a silent auction at the MGM Park main event in which 100% of those proceeds will be given directly to Make-A-Wish, Mississippi.
