Notwithstanding the myriad of “self-defense” issues and problems with this entire situation, this is why we really try not to play the ground game. Sure, it’s important to know what to do there, but the intent MUST be to get up quickly. And when you are on the ground, you have to control the limbs and their ability to reach for weapons. A lot of classes out there that teach ground defense don’t talk about hidden weapons or controlling the limbs. It’s a basic assumption in Krav Maga that this can and likely will happen. Train well, people - wherever you train.

We are looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about helping others through teaching self defense! This 3-day training gives you the basics to be able to teach Level 1 (beginner material) as well as how to run a successful program. We get this a lot with people interested in Krav Maga, that they think they have to do something, or be in some kind of shape before starting. And quite honestly, it doesn’t happen. Just show up. Make it a priority in your life, schedule it and show up to class. You will get better. I can promise you that.
