Strength training is one of the most important components we offer at The Zone. It’s our main focus in the space because it is essential for improving overall health.

Strength training builds and maintains muscle mass so doing daily tasks is easier and less risk of injury. It boosts your metabolism, muscle tissue is more metabolically active than fat tissue. It helps increase bone density which is important as you age. It also helps alleviate symptoms of various chronic conditions like arthritis & back pain. There’s so many more benefits but this is just an example of some important ones.

At The Zone, we do offer the lighter weights but we will build you up over time and push you to go heavier when we know you’re ready! So come check out all of our strength training classes and let’s get STRONG together!

Have you been wanting to try one of our lifting classes but not sure what it is?

LIFT is a class focused on using heavier dumbbells, kettlebells, body weight, and resistance bands to get a full body muscle building workout. You will have your own mat and weights to work with through the whole class.

LIFT 30 is 30 minutes of a full body blast.
LIFT 45 is 45 minutes of full body burn.
LIFT KB is more kettlebell, medicine ball, and bike work.

We’re focusing on building your muscles so you can get STRONG in 2026! 💪
