Belgrade was so fun we can’t wait to come back! Dakota started pole in the heat and finished 5th he said it was definitely a learning curve but had a blast! His main started 10th finished 11th with a DNF due to a blown differential. He was looking so good too! But in the end it was a fun track amazing people and fun time all around! We are so proud of him for getting out of his comfort zone! Thank you to Papa and Grammy for coming to watch! Another fun night at Big Sky speedway in the books. Dakota started 5th in the heat and finished 7th was a little wild some new holes in the panels but nothing some work can’t fix. He wheeled the heck out of the car on a situation that could have been bad. He started 7th finished 4th! He had his 1st spin out from checking up hard from hitting another driver. He did awesome on the feature after that! Still having some fueling issues but o think we officially have it figured out. Now to get the car ready for the next race since Mother Nature took the checkered flag today! A special thank you to Briana Ingle for helping in the pits since mom is down for 2 weeks. You were a ton of help to dad last night! Thank you to Ryan Nash for letting me is pit on your pad last night! Thank you to everyone that helped us keep Trixie on the track! Night 2 at Big Sky Speedway not the night we were hoping for but that’s ok! Everyone has a bad night of racing. Started in the heat outside pole and finished 5th. The main started 9th finished 12th with his first DNF. Another car collected Dakota but everyone walked away safe. Minimal damage to Trixie she needs a new bumper and Dad got the cover back to her beautiful self! Some panel damage in the heat but hey rubbings racing right. He keeps improving and learning so much! Now to get it back together for Graduation weekend! A special thank you to Papa and Uncle Derek for coming out and braving the cold!
