First Tee of Montana

First Tee of Montana We teach life skills through the game of golf. The First Tee of Montana curriculum is designed for participants ages 8 to 18.

The First Tee Life Skills Experience consists of four levels - Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace - and a stand alone program - Target - which serves as an introduction to the Life Skills Experience. The First Tee Life Skills Experience was developed by a team of experts in the field of youth development and golf instruction. The First Tee Life Skills Experience was developed to teach life skills and prom

ote character education through the game of golf. Each level has six core lessons designed to be taught sequentially, as many of the concepts build upon previously learned skills and activities. Par is the first of four levels developed as part of the First Tee Experience. Its focus is on interpersonal and self management skills. Birdie is the second level and focuses primarily on effective strategies for goal setting, while continuing to reinforce interpersonal and self management skills. Eagle is the third level and, in addition of interpersonal, self management and goal setting skills, Eagle participants are introduced to resistance skills, which are designed to help them with social as well as personal development. Ace is the fourth and newest level and focuses on personal planning. Unlike the first three levels, which teach life skills primarily through golf instruction, Ace participants will work more one-on-one with coaches to enhance skills and become assets to the community.

The Masters isn’t just a tournament. It’s a reminder.

In a world that moves fast, cuts corners, and chases the easy way out … Augusta National whispers: details matter.

Every blade of grass is intentional. Every tradition protected. Every invitation earned, never assumed. Nothing is accidental. Nothing is rushed. And nothing is done “just good enough.”

There are no phones. No scrolling. No living the moment through a screen. When patrons step onto those grounds, they’re there—fully.

The Masters doesn’t just protect standards—it protects presence. In a world addicted to distraction, Augusta demands your attention.

The Masters is what happens when standards are sacred.

It’s the belief that excellence isn’t a moment, it’s a commitment. It’s a thousand small decisions made with care when no one is watching. It’s discipline in a culture of shortcuts and pride in unseen work.

And maybe that’s why it resonates so deeply—because it reflects something we’re all craving:

More meaning.
More craftsmanship.
More presence.
More things done the right way, not the easy way.

The Masters isn’t just about golf.

It’s about what becomes possible when you refuse to lower the bar. For the players. For the patrons. For us all.
