This past weekend came and passed so quickly, as do many things in life! Every wrestler that made it to the State Championship tournament this weekend worked so darn hard and our community couldn’t be more proud of them as a team and as individuals.
Beyond the physical prowess and athletic achievements, it is their character that shines through. The Savage Horsemen have shown resilience in the face of defeats, humility in victory, and camaraderie that goes beyond the boundaries of the wrestling team. They’ve become a family, supporting and pushing each other to be the best versions of themselves.
Wrestlers, (& seniors especially): as your journey in high school wrestling comes to an end, I want you to know that your hard work has not gone unnoticed. You have left an indelible mark on this program, inspiring the younger wrestlers who will follow in your footsteps. Your legacy will continue to live on, reminding future generations of the values and dedication it takes to excel in this sport. So, as you stepped onto the mat for your final match, remember that you had already achieved so much. Regardless of the outcome, know that you have made us proud. Your dedication, passion, and perseverance have molded you into exceptional individuals, ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.
Thank you for the countless hours of hard work, the sacrifices you have made, and the memories you have created. It has been an honor to witness your growth and be a part of your journey!
Congratulations to the following 2 gentleman, who made the podium this Saturday. Out of the whole state of Montana, you’re among the best!
John Waterbury 4th
Drew Carey 5th
Thank you for giving our Wildhorse Little ‘Guy’ wrestlers something to look UP to and to look FORWARD to!
Thank you all for a great season! Jesse & Rocky, (coaches), the team couldn’t have done it without your leadership.
