In keeping with the concept of moving forward with the new club, all further communication with be on our new FB page, South Central Pennsylvania Pa. Wrestling Club. The Camo Kidz WC has served it's purpose over the last 7-8 years by the number of state medalists, D-1 wrestlers, D-2 and D-3 wrestlers, and all-around good kids it produced. Come be a part of a bigger and better thing with the new club. Thanks to all!

Congratulations to Cumberland Valley for their 2nd place finish at the AAA State Duals and to Boiling Springs for their AA State Duals Championship. It's time for the YAIAA to step up and be a part of that action. How? Join our new club, the South Central Pa. Wrestling Club, which combines the Roughnecks Wrestling Club and the Camo Kidz WC. Folkstyle and Freestyle will be a part of this club as it operates all year long. Check Cumberland Valley's line-up and you'll see that Will Kaldes, Wyatt Long, Felix Belga, Patrick Duggan, and Francis Duggan all were members of the Pa. State Freestyle Team at Fargo last summer. There's no secret to high-level success.

We are excited to announce the formation of a new Club that will operate under the name of the South Central Pennsylvania Wrestling Club. It will run all year long and will bring together the following coaches: Tyke Conover-Camo Kidz and former HC at Hanover HS , Kurt Brenner-HC at Hanover HS, Bob Gano-Camo Kidz and former HC at Biglerville and Delone Catholic HS, Nate Murren-HC at South Western, Greg Sprenkle-former HC at South Western HS, Josh Ross-JH Coach at SG, Shay Shive-Camo Kidz, Tony Miller-HC at Spring Grove HS, Thomas Slaugh-Ass't Coach at Hanover HS, and others. We will concentrate on FS/GR in the Spring and folkstyle the rest of the year. All partners in this believe that being united as one club brings us the best opportunity for success in the future. We will have literature out shortly, but, practices tentatively will run on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 6:30-8pm at the Spring Grove Middle School beginning March 16th. We have a fundraiser (PJW Area 9 JH qualifier) that we are co-hosting with the Papertown Pinners next Sunday, 2/15, that we are still seeking table help and concession help with. Volunteering will make this Club more affordable for those Club members. With the new partnership, we anticipate great things for the future of SC Pa. Wrestling. As they say, "There will come a time when Winter says, "What did you do all Summer?" I know what these 2 did all Summer and was glad we were with them in Fargo in July. Congrats!

State-ranked talent. High-profile tournaments. The Cumberland Valley freshman goes as hard when it counts as when it doesn't.

Great tournament today at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Tournament with Laike Gardner placing 2nd and Ian Brown 4th at 149 lbs. Both were derailed in their quest for a title by the University of Pennsylvania's, 5th year Senior, C.J. Cobb, who is ranked 15th nationally. Gardner lost a narrow 3-2 decision in the finals while Brown was upended in the semis by a 14-6 major decision. Congrats to both! It was also nice to see former club member, Don Minnier, now wrestling at Millersville.

Happy to see Littlestown's Varsity wrestling program turning things around this season. I truly believe that those who put the time in during the off-season get results. Hoping to see even more of those guys in the Spring!
