Lease members: Sharing an email from PotlachDeltic. Please refrain from any activity mentioned. If anyone wants a copy of the lease agreement let me know and I'll be happy to share.

Dear Hunt Clubs,

We have noticed a recurring issue with clubs using unauthorized equipment on the property. Please be advised that using dozers or skid steers on our property to clean out roads or creek crossing is not permitted. We are reminding you to read over your license agreement regarding violation of our guidelines.

Thank you,
PotlatchDeltic Hunting and Recreation

Dear Hunt Club:

Please share this information with all your club members:

In the past few days, much of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama in which PotlatchDeltic owns land in have received significant amounts of rain. In many areas, soils are fully saturated, and creeks and streams are running at very high levels. Thus, there is a strong probability for flooding throughout the area. This widespread flooding may wash out culverts causing roads and bridges to collapse.

Please consider the following recommendations:

1. Many PotlatchDeltic roads are not designed for vehicle traffic during these extreme rain events. In many areas, loggers have suspended operations until weather improves, and roads dry out. In other cases, the roads are one lane roads and our contractor could be taking up that one lane, so slow down when traveling
2. Before crossing any stream, realize that flooding and potential failure of road stream crossings could leave you and your vehicle stranded indefinitely.
3. Never drive on submerged roads or creek crossings. This is a very unsafe practice. Your vehicle could be swept off the road by swiftly flowing water.

Listen to your local weather for flash flood warnings. Default to the side of caution – foremost for YOUR safety but also for the long-term benefits of stable roads and sustained lease access.

The next time you visit your lease, if you discover extensive damage such as blown out culverts or bridges, please flag off the site to warn other visitors. If a road is damaged and needs repaired, you may contact your local PotlatchDeltic office to inform the representatives of the damage. We especially appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Please contact us with any questions.

Thank you,
PotlatchDeltic Recreation

Notification of Surveyor Work

Dear Club Members:

Please be advised PotlatchDeltic is in the process of conducting a survey of stands planted within the last two years. The process has started and could potentially last until the end of the year. With hunting season in full swing, we wanted to make you aware of these contractors possibly being on your tract. For the safety of the contractors, we ask that you make your club members aware of the potential of these crews being on the tract and that they stay a safe distance away from the crews working on the tract. The surveying should not take long to complete on each tract and unfortunately, we do not have defined time frames for the tracts being surveyed. We understand it is hunting season, but our land is a working Forest and that is our priority.

Regards,

PotlatchDeltic Hunt Support

This is a Houndsmen's Hunting lease! If you joined and thought this was a still hunting lease you were wrong. If you want to hunt a stand get it off the powerline or logging road, get it in the woods. If you like to hear a pack of hounds sounding off coming through the hollers and hills, well you'll be right at home. Also don't put up more stands than the lease rules allow today. If you have more than two, you're wrong! This might change in the future as well. Every paying member deserves to have at least one stand. Some think they can have as many as they like. Wrong!! If you don't like it, find the exit at the three points of entry. If you have a problem with any of the above feel free to call me. Most of you have my number. WO

NOTICE!! The recreational rights to this property are leased to the dues paying members. The boundaries will be posted and trespassing will NOT be tolerated. The campsite has been ransacked and roads torn up by trespassers for too long and the members that are paying to enjoy hunting, riding, hiking and all other outdoor recreational activities will not put up with it any longer.

As for the individuals who have stolen and destroyed property at the camp, don't let us catch you...........you will have charges filed against you. The same goes for those tearing up the interior roads. Enough is enough.
