Just some information for everyone. I called Big Sur today and they told me “every inch of every trail in Big Sur is closed”. They will be handing out $5K fines to anyone found on a closed trail. This is absolutely horrific and they say it’s unsafe but perfectly safe to be hiking with all of the Walmartians! 🤦🏻‍♂️

My sons first backpacking trip! Took him to Salmon Creek in Big Sur. He did great and is now loves backpacking. We had filet mignon and lobster tails with fresh asparagus. We played in the creek and had an amazing time. Perfect weather and very little bugs made for a fantastic weekend
