We’ve had several people arrive at the YMCA expecting to participate in a free basketball event after seeing a FLYER shared on social media.📲

TO CLARIFY, this is NOT an official YMCA-hosted event. The flyer was created and shared by individuals outside of the YMCA, and permission was not given to use the YMCA logo or imply that this is a YMCA-sponsored event.

If any individuals choose to meet and play at our facility, please note:

🏀 All participants must pay the regular YMCA daily fee OR be an active member to enter the facility.
🏀 They will be limited to half of the basketball court so the other half remains available for our members and guests.
🏀 This is an open gym gathering organized by customers, not a YMCA-hosted tournament, league, or special event.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work to ensure all members and guests have fair access to the gym.💙
