It is with a mix of nostalgia and gratitude that I write to you today. After 34 incredible years, I am pleased to announce the recent sale of Geyser Whitewater Expeditions to Montana Whitewater. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the owner of one of Big Sky's oldest businesses and the longest-operating whitewater outfitter on the Gallatin River.
As I reflect on the countless memories created and shared over the years, I am filled with a deep sense of appreciation for the support, referrals, and business that you, our valued guests, and the community have generously provided. Geyser Whitewater Expeditions has been more than a business to me; it has been a journey marked by adventure, camaraderie, and the beauty of the Gallatin River.
To our cherished guests, thank you for choosing Geyser Whitewater Expeditions for your whitewater rafting experiences. Whether you were seeking the thrill of challenging rapids or a leisurely float down the river, it has been a joy to witness the smiles, laughter, and excitement that have graced our rafts over the years.
To the Big Sky community, your unwavering support has been the bedrock of our success. From local partnerships to collaborative events, we have been fortunate to be part of a community that values adventure and the great outdoors. Your support has not only sustained our business but has also enriched the experiences of all those who have ventured into the breathtaking landscapes of Big Sky.
As I pass the paddle to the new owners, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the friendships formed, the trust bestowed, and the countless memories that will forever be etched in my heart. Geyser Whitewater Expeditions will always hold a special place in the story of Big Sky, and I am confident that it will continue to thrive under new leadership.
