Congratulations Brenda and Adam!
Our hunt in the Yukon was coming to a close when we found this absolute giant of a caribou. We put on a multi-hour stalk and belly crawled through the tundra to get within range. Brenda slowly pulled the trigger and the beautiful bull dropped in one shot with the 6.5 Wby RPM 124 Hammer bullet. Brenda hunted hard alongside me for my sheep that week and so I was thrilled when she was able to punch a tag on this outstanding animal. It was well deserved! We grilled up Caribou steaks last night with my parents back in Sheridan and told stories upon stories of this incredible journey as we watched the sun set over the Bighorn Mountains. It’s great to be home but I already miss the adventures of the far north.
