During a recent scuba diving trip we recovered 3 fishing reels, a spear gun shaft, and a chum cage. Well over $1,000 worth of lost fishing gear.

Just a little update, finally got the new motor installed and all rigged up. Now I’m playing the prop game. So far the old Evinrude performed much better (when it was running) than the new Suzuki. I think it will be fine once I get the correct prop.

Of course now that I’m ready to get back out on the water I have two obstacles. First the weather this week is not great. Lots of rainy days in the forecast. Second I just got selected for Jury duty that may last all week. At least I was selected on a week that the weather wasn’t great.
